Hi, I tricked you; this isn't a chapter.
I just want to clarify four points before the fic begins. I don't usually do this, since I think my readers are capable of reading comprehension and can draw their own conclusions. However, if something isn't clear and it's an important point, I'm happy to explain it in the comments.
First of all, I want to explain a weapon I plan to introduce, which I don't intend to reveal, but after some research, I realized it's incredibly overpowered, so I'll nerf it, but subtly, to avoid creating a deus ex machina for Dante. It's from a cartoon series, not an anime or manga.
Second, this relates to the mythology Dante will be in. Initially, I wanted to make Dante a pseudo-servant, specifically of Azrael, so he would be set in Christian/Muslim/I don't know what other mythology. But with its inclusion in the Grand Duels, I discarded the idea.
Then I considered Norse mythology, but another idea came to me, so I'll save the Odin and Ragnarok theme for a future fic.
And so I kept searching for ideas; I even considered Hindu mythology, but I don't know much about it. In the end, I remembered a character I'd like to see in the harem, so I placed him in that specific mythology. Not to mention, I know those legends almost inside and out, so it won't be too difficult to modify things.
Third, this part of Fate will be divided into three sections: the first, the Age of the Gods; the second, the Holy Grail War; and the third, the Singularities and Lostbelt. I'll try not to make it too long, so, as always, I'll leave certain points open to interpretation, making them somewhat obvious but not explicitly stated, just to keep this from getting too long.
And finally... There's something I wanted to do in the previous chapter, but it slipped my mind, so I'll introduce it now as a flashback or something like that, since it's important for the start of the arc, so no one says something like, "That came out of nowhere" or "What a plot hole." I wanted to include it, but I forgot to write it down.
That's all. Right now I feel terribly ill; I think I'm going to catch a cold. And tomorrow I have a test, and I have to take my brother to the hospital and to the psychiatrist, and only I can do it. So tomorrow I'm going to rest; I won't write anything.
