Roy quickly hit the brakes and grabbed his phone back from Jennifer.
"Dalia, what happened? Tell me everything!"
Dalia had been through quite a bit with Roy, so she was still relatively calm and explained everything that had happened in clear detail.
It turned out that while the three women were chatting outside the Maori restaurant, waiting for Roy to pick them up, a guy with natural camouflage suddenly rushed out of a nearby alley, snatched Claire's bag, and ran off.
Today, Roy had called Dalia and Amy to help out, and they had come in a hurry without their bags. Only Claire was carrying a small purse, making her the target of the robbery.
During the Sydney Olympics, the internet wasn't as developed in the East, so Roy didn't know that Australia had such "colorful" scenes.
Truly a developed country, so much freedom!
But a stolen bag is just a stolen bag. Claire wasn't particularly short on money; a psychologist is a high-paying profession in America.
Back then, Roy's parents booked Claire for Emma, and just that one hour of talk therapy cost several hundred dollars.
Long-term mental treatment would be even more expensive.
The problem was, Claire had some important things in her purse, so she immediately chased after him.
"Why was Claire so impulsive?"
Claire was usually quite calm, so Roy was a bit surprised by her sudden impulsiveness.
"Roy, hurry over! Amy went after Claire, and now I'm the only one left at the restaurant entrance!"
Dalia's voice on the other end of the phone sounded a bit scared. The recent incident made her feel very insecure, especially now that she was alone.
"I'm driving right now and will be there very soon. Whatever you do, don't leave!"
Hanging up the phone, Roy turned to look at Jennifer.
"Jennifer, it looks like I'll have to drop you off later."
"It's fine. Is Claire okay?"
"We'll only know after we get there!"
Roy started the car, turned around, and sped off.
One second it was skyscrapers, the next it was a run-down area. This kind of scene is common in many cities.
Soon, Roy found the Maori restaurant Dalia had mentioned and saw Dalia waiting anxiously at the entrance.
"Roy, you're finally here!"
Seeing Roy, Dalia finally had a sense of security. Then she saw Jennifer getting out of Roy's car with him.
Jennifer, who had become more sexy and charming due to the bloodline fusion ritual but still had a cold aura, made Dalia pause for a moment. This was their first meeting.
After her initial surprise, Dalia nodded slightly at Jennifer. After all, she had already given up on the idea of having Roy all to herself.
"Dalia, how long ago did Claire and Amy run off?"
"About twenty minutes! Roy, I'm so worried about them! Nothing bad will happen, right?"
Roy's expression was a bit grim. If something bad was going to happen, one minute would be enough, let alone over twenty minutes.
However, Roy still comforted Dalia.
"They'll be fine, I'll find them! Jennifer, can you keep an eye on Dalia for me?"
Jennifer nodded and then extended her hand to Dalia.
"Hello, I'm Jennifer Morgan."
"Dalia O'Connor, nice to meet you."
As for Roy, he had already activated the Hellhound Ring and started tracking Claire's location.
At this moment, Claire had chased the guy with natural camouflage in the dark deep into the slums.
It was thanks to the fact that this black guy was wearing a flashy green jacket while working that Claire could even see him.
If this guy had worn all black, Claire probably wouldn't have been able to see him in the dark and naturally wouldn't have been able to chase him this far.
Of course, Claire being able to keep up was also because she regularly exercised and worked out, plus she liked fighting competitions and had practiced some self-defense techniques, otherwise she wouldn't have been so bold.
After running for half an hour, this black guy actually couldn't outrun Claire. Coupled with running into a dead end, he turned around and pulled out a dagger.
"Bitch, stop following me!"
Upon seeing the dagger, Claire quickly calmed down and immediately backed away a few steps.
Fighting an enemy with a weapon empty-handed was too disadvantageous. Claire had no chance of winning and had to change her strategy.
"Sir, there's something very important in that bag. How about you just take the money and leave, and give me back the bag?"
Saying that, Claire backed up a few steps, giving the black guy space to leave.
The black guy observed Claire under the dim light, clearly hesitant.
However, Claire's sweet face was quite deceptive. The black guy didn't think too much, opened Claire's purse, found the wallet, took the cash, then threw the bag on the ground and prepared to leave.
Claire did not stop the black guy and let him pass her with the money.
However, when the black guy walked out of the dead end and tried to speed away, a fist came flying at him, instantly knocking him out with a caved-in nose.
"Claire, are you okay?"
After taking down the black guy, Roy greeted Claire without even looking at the guy on the ground.
At this moment, Claire had just picked up her purse and was very surprised to see Roy.
"Roy, how did you get here?"
"Dalia called me! How could I not come when something like this happened? Claire, what happened today was too risky! Why did you chase after this guy?"
Claire stuck out her little pink tongue, very embarrassed.
"Sorry! My autograph book was in my purse. That thing has great sentimental value to me, so I couldn't help but chase after him!"
This autograph book was the notebook that Roy had signed for Claire on the plane before. It was surprisingly salvaged after the plane crash.
Although the notebook was waterlogged and looked very unsightly, Claire still couldn't bear to throw it away because she felt it was something that symbolized her relationship with Roy.
Roy slapped his forehead, speechless.
"So it was that thing! Claire, don't do this again next time. I don't want to see you get hurt!"
Claire showed a sweet smile and gently nodded.
At this moment, Roy sensed something was wrong and frowned, looking around.
"Right, where's Amy?"
Claire looked at Roy strangely.
"Amy? Was she following me just now?"
"Dalia said Amy ran out after you. Where is she?"
Amy was indeed initially following Claire, but the black guy and Claire were both running very fast. After following for a while, Amy lost them.
Also, because the black guy was taking Amy around the slums, while Roy was tracking using the Hellhound Ring, taking the shortest direct route, he didn't encounter Amy on the way.
Hearing this, Claire immediately became panicked.
"Amy didn't get into trouble, did she?"
"Don't panic, Claire! Amy probably got lost!"
The terrain in these slum areas often becomes very complicated due to illegal modifications, and it's easy for someone who isn't local to get lost the first time they enter.
The same applied to Claire. If Roy hadn't found her first, she would probably have to wander for a long time to get back.
Activating the Hellhound Ring's effect again, Roy began searching for Amy.
"I know where she is. Come with me."
Roy held Claire's hand and started to navigate through the alleys of the slums.
It was fortunate that it was nighttime and there weren't many people on the street, otherwise Roy and Claire's skin color would definitely cause trouble here.
Despite this, Roy still encountered a clueless black guy who wanted to start a low-cost business with a replica handgun he picked up somewhere.
Such a person was naturally sent to dreamland with a single punch from Roy.
After tracking for five minutes, Roy suddenly saw the Hellhound's phantom disappear.
This sudden situation made Roy pause.
"Roy, why did you stop?"
"Damn it, something's wrong!"
The Hellhound's phantom suddenly disappearing meant only one thing: Amy had left the search range of the Hellhound Ring.
Otherwise, even if the person was dead, the Hellhound's phantom could still lead Roy to the body.
Amy couldn't have run that fast on her own, otherwise she would have caught up to Claire long ago, so she must have been kidnapped.
Although human traffickers were generally quite rampant in such immigrant countries, Roy was still very angry, so much so that his expression scared Claire.
Her big eyes were already welling up with tears.
"Roy, what happened to Amy?"
"Amy might have been taken. I'll take you back to the car first and let Jennifer take you back to the hotel!"
Roy silently called out to Claudia in his mind, asking her to come to the slums to find him, and then took the worried Claire back to the Maori restaurant.
Seeing that only Roy and Claire had returned, Dalia also started to worry.
"Roy, where's Amy?"
"Amy is missing. You guys go back to the hotel first, I'll find her!"
Giving Jennifer a look, she immediately understood and took Dalia and Claire back to the hotel.
Afterward, Roy took out his phone and dialed a number.
"Mr. Anonymous, do you happen to know any human trafficking organizations here in Sydney?"
The scene shifts to Amy ten minutes earlier.
Amy originally wanted to hold onto Claire, but she didn't expect Claire, who looked so fair and delicate, to be such a fast runner.
As she chased, Amy got lost in the slums.
Looking at the dark surroundings, Amy felt some uneasy stares, filling her with fear.
Unfortunately, because Dalia had brought her phone, Amy didn't have hers, leaving her without a way to contact Roy.
"Who's there?"
Seemingly alerted, Amy turned around but found nothing.
Before Amy could even let out a sigh of relief, a handkerchief covered her mouth from behind. Amy smelled a sickly sweet scent and completely lost consciousness.
Subsequently, the person behind her picked up Amy and walked towards a nearby van.
"Mr. Kim, we're done. We've caught the target's friend."
The large, dark fat man referred to as Mr. Kim showed a smug expression.
"Nice job! Take a video immediately and send it to Roy Black. I want to make that guy regret refusing me back then!"
The speaker was the boxing manager, Don King.
In the Olympic qualifiers, Roy hadn't given this world-class boxing manager face, which had caused him to become angry and want to hire people to retaliate against Roy.
After all, if Roy had agreed to Don King's proposal, riding on the momentum of the Olympic champion, he would have already started making huge profits.
Losing out on so much money made Don King feel like he had lost hundreds of millions, thus making him hate Roy even more for not giving him face.
It wasn't until he was in Sydney that Don King finally found an opportunity. He wanted to use his connections in Australia to hit Roy hard and make him obediently submit.
What was the use of being good at boxing? Didn't you still have to bow down when faced with a handgun?
Don King thought gleefully, already fantasizing about picking up huge piles of money after signing Roy.
"Dark web is the way to go, the efficiency is really high!"
Amy was woken up by a splash of cold water. When she opened her eyes, she found herself in a warehouse.
Recalling the last moments before she lost consciousness, Amy realized she had been kidnapped and started to panic.
At this moment, three burly men wearing masks walked over, one black and two white.
"Who are you? Do we have a grudge? Why did you kidnap me?"
Amy felt that she wasn't rich or important and couldn't understand why she had been kidnapped.
One of the white men, covered in tattoos, held a digital camera and seemed to be recording a video.
"Of course, we don't have a grudge. Blame it on you being Roy Black's lover. Someone paid a high price for us to kidnap someone close to Roy Black to teach him a lesson. Tough luck for you!"
Amy's eyes widened. She hadn't expected this to be related to Roy.
Apart from the white man holding the digital camera, the other black and white men started taking off their clothes. This action made Amy even more scared.
"What, what are you trying to do?"
"Hehe, don't be scared, lady! These two are professionals I've carefully selected. They will definitely satisfy you!"
Amy's hands and feet were tied to a chair, but she still tried to dodge.
"Don't come near me!"
"Lady, it's better if you don't struggle. Isn't it better to just enjoy it? That way, you might suffer less pain, otherwise, you'll have a hard time later!"
The white man with the digital camera used a small knife to cut the ropes tying Amy to the chair. Amy immediately got off the chair and tried to run away.
But the warehouse door was already locked, and Amy had nowhere to escape. She could only run around like a panicked little bunny, trying to hide.
The three masked guys seemed to really enjoy this cat-and-mouse game and weren't in a hurry to deal with Amy. Instead, they spread out and surrounded Amy little by little.
Roy, come quickly and save me!
At the critical moment, the three of them suddenly heard someone knocking on the warehouse door.
The white man holding the digital camera frowned and handed the camera to the person next to him.
"I'll go open the door. You guys take more footage, make sure the client is satisfied!"
The knocking was very urgent, and the white man jogged over quickly.
"Stop knocking! Who is it?"
With a bang, the warehouse door directly fell down.
