On an Earth that had completely changed since the apocalypse years ago, the city of Nocture still stood firmly amidst the ruins of the old civilization. Walls of pitch-black, built from bones and recycled metal, towered high, enclosing the city that was once founded by the hands of Sofia and Sylvia themselves. Within it, thousands of zombies that still possessed undead consciousness, their awareness preserved by the power of their queen, lived in a strange peaceful order. They worked, patrolled, and even farmed in fertile fields of corpses. Outside the walls, wild zombies roamed aimlessly creatures of pure instinct that knew only hunger and destruction.
Suddenly, at the same moment throughout the city, all the zombies stopped moving.
