"Lord Rosse, what would you have me do?", Harribel looked to Rosse and asked solemnly.
Rosse left her assignment to the end, which obviously meant there were more important people to consider.
"You will receive our new companion and escort her back to Las Noches. I will meet her there. At the same time, play along with me for a little show."
Rosse smiled slightly and laid out the specifics of that show.
On the day Yhwach triggers Auswahlen, he planned a big scene.
But after hearing Rosse's grand plan, Aizen's eyebrow twitched almost imperceptibly.
All the acts Rosse planned were Aizen's specialties.
'The question is, why does Rosse want to stage such a thing?'
'To show the Seireitei those ants? Probably not.'
Aizen could not fully read Rosse's mind, but he knew that in Rosse's view, the Gotei 13 were basically ants.
'The only ones possibly worth real attention would be the Zero Division and Head Captain Yamamoto.'
'Given that, Rosse has no real need to put on that performance.'
'Could it be, simply for fun?'
'No. Although Rosse sometimes acts for amusement, every action still has a deeper meaning behind it.'
'So what is it for...'
For a moment, Aizen slipped into thought.

[Three Days Later]
Today was the day Yhwach would trigger Auswahlen. It was also the day Rosse, after playing with Rangiku for several days, prepared to find Shiba Isshin.
"Huh? After Captain Shiba disappeared, he opened a small clinic in the living world?", Looking at the modest clinic, Rangiku was incredulous.
She had imagined Shiba Isshin enjoying life in the living world, maybe with wives and children, some great figure with influence.
'But a small clinic? Captain Shiba is not from the Fourth Division. Why would he be doing doctor work?'
"If my perception is correct, this is the place."
Rosse chuckled. Hidden small in the city, this kind of concealment was the best.
Not everyone chased wealth and power. A peaceful life was a perfectly valid choice.
"Captain, shall we go in now?", Rangiku blinked and looked to her current captain for permission.
Because they were meeting the former captain, she had dressed up, even getting her hair permed. Her orange waves looked even more gorgeous.
And to keep her captain from getting jealous, she and Rosse were wearing matching couple outfits today.
She did not quite understand why two similar cartoon figures on a T shirt counted as couple clothes, but standing next to Rosse she did look good.
"Let's go in. He was the former Tenth Division captain. I'm curious to meet him."
Rosse smiled slightly and pushed open the clinic door.
The clinic looked empty of patients. In his perception, only four people were inside, Isshin's family.
"Clinic's closed today, but if you need—"
The moment the door opened, Isshin's mature middle aged voice came, then he froze.
He no longer had spiritual pressure, so he could not sense Rosse or Rangiku.
Only when Rangiku walked in behind Rosse did he realize acquaintances had arrived.
"Captain Shiba, long time no see."
Rangiku waved cheerfully and greeted him.
Seeing him dressed in loungewear but still neatly groomed, she felt a little moved.
Back in the Soul Society, Shiba Isshin had been that sloppy uncle type. After staying in the living world, his image had improved.
"Hahaha! It's Rangiku. I'm not a captain anymore. Call me Kurosaki Isshin," Isshin waved and laughed, giving his living world name.
"Kurosaki? That's the wife's surname? Tsk! Isshin, you are really shameless. You got married and had kids without telling your lieutenant? I used to take care of you," Rangiku put her hands on her hips and complained.
Since she knew Isshin wouldn't return to the Soul Society, she dropped the old title.
More importantly, she now had a new captain.
He was stronger than Isshin in every way, looks, body, ability, all a class above.
So she did not regard Isshin as captain anymore, at most a long time friend.
"You looked after me? I did the division work, remember," Kurosaki Isshin glared at Rangiku, tinged with some melancholy.
He had never expected that in just ten years he would meet old acquaintances from the Soul Society.
That was not necessarily good news.
If Rangiku could find this place, whoever was behind the scenes could too. Maybe even the captains would find this place.
Then his peaceful life would be shattered.
"All right, aren't you going to introduce us? Are you here on your honeymoon?", Isshin did not wait for Rangiku's reply. He suddenly changed tone and teased them with a grin.
He had lived in the living world ten years and spotted their matching couple outfits at once.
Ten years gone and Rangiku had found true love.
He had thought she might still pine for the cold childhood friend, but apparently not.
"I'll properly introduce him."
Rangiku laughed and hooked Rosse's arm, pulling him before Isshin and playfully introduced him:
"This is Rosse, my new husband!"
"Of course. Even you have entered the grave of love. Is the Soul Society finished now?", Isshin joked and glanced at Rosse twice.
Rosse had not spoken since entering, but from his appearance alone he scored top marks.
He carried the bearing of nobility in his manner.
Since Rangiku did not give a surname, Isshin did not press. Everyone had secrets.
He laughed and reached out his hand to Rosse, boisterously saying:
"Congratulations on your marriage. I am Kurosaki Isshin. I used to be Rangiku's captain. Now I am just an ordinary doctor in the living world."
"Pleased to meet you, Mr. Kurosaki. Let me formally introduce myself. I am Rosse, Rangiku's husband and the current Tenth Division captain."
Rosse smiled slightly and did not deny Rangiku's introduction.
If the other offered, he would accept. No loss to him.
These days, after playing with Rangiku, their relationship had risen fast.
Every night after she drank, Rangiku would grab his hand and start kneading dough.
He had to admit, kneading that huge dough felt really good.
