Ariana could not believe her mother would be this cruel to her. How could she not recognize her.
"Mother please, stop, please!" She cried, struggling to get Maybelline's hands off her hair, but the woman just wouldn't leave her alone. May's grip was so tight, that Ariana felt an instant head ache.
