Chapter 127 - When Space Begins To Tear

What followed was a tsunami-like red-black annihilation wave. Countless empty Rift appeared within it, proof that even the concept of space was collapsing. The output instantly shattered Belial's Photon Reflection Shield again and again, stripping flesh and scales as he was smashed through and crushed across most of the Nanometal city.

"Hah… hah… finally. Even if you are not dead, the victory is still mine."

The chest cannon closed, and Ludwig swayed as soul burn damage left his thoughts blurred. He could still sense Belial's energy, but that did not matter. He thought controlling Nanometal alone would be enough to finish things.

Then he froze, realizing something was wrong. He suddenly sprinted toward Belial in panic, shouting for him to stop. At the same time, a mocking voice answered that killing him was not the real goal.

Belial chuckled. His body had been blasted beside a central metal High Tower, right next to a metal tree grown from a seed that now bloomed with vivid red flowers. The final task marker was right there.

Only now did Ludwig realize that during the fight, it was not that he had dodged well. It was that Belial had been quietly repositioning the entire time. By deliberately taking a painful but survivable hit, he had reached the true target.

"Stop right there!"

Ludwig frantically controlled nearby Nanomachines to bind Belial while charging forward himself. He even prepared to fire another cannon shot despite the cost. At that moment, a chill ran down his back.

From afar, Sky Island fired. Bella ignored barrel wear and core consumption, unleashing the highest-output Absolute Zero Cannon she could manage. The shot followed the pre-set coordinates Belial had chosen, right along Ludwig's path.

The massive metal body was covered in thick ice. It did not stop the soul-burning monster, but it slowed him just a little. That tiny delay was enough.

"Done."

Belial uprooted the tree and glanced at the tiny seed-like object. He shook his head and casually tossed it into his mouth. A confirmation echoed as the final count completed.

As the connection to the seed was severed, Ludwig went nearly insane. Apart from his constructed metal body, all other ecologically linked Nanometal rapidly slipped out of his control. In fury that nearly shattered his soul, he turned his gaze toward Lilith and Bella and opened his mouth, red light gathering inside.

"Mortals, die!"

Before the words finished, the attack was forcibly cut off by an energy conduction failure. A plasma cut moving almost too fast to perceive sliced off Ludwig's lower body, tail included. The sky-spanning plasma strike swept across the entire Nanomachines city and carved a deep Canyon into the land.

In an instant, a third of the city's Nanometal fell out of Ludwig's control. His reactions were completely severed. Even the ecological domain itself was left with a deep, gaping wound.

Godzilla Earth comes from Godzilla:Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters in the Trilogy. Yes, that one, the Godzilla said to be over three hundred meters tall, nicknamed Gen Urobuchi. In the story it shows an unstoppable sense of despair, though most of its highlight feats were from twenty thousand years ago, when it was only fifty meters tall and part of an Earth monster free-for-all.

Smashing a wall of Shard and Nanomachines, melting Himalayas, boiling away the Bay of Bengal, charging for two years to strike a monster with Shard-moon mass, heating water in the Arctic Ocean, and shaking continental plates. These kinds of exaggerated feats are everywhere. After wiping out humanity, it evolved on Earth for twenty thousand years and built an ecological System with itself at the top, growing to six times its original height.

Its body lacks normal organs and is made entirely of highly metalized plant fibers, like a giant metal coil that can output terrifying magnetic power. Unlike most Godzilla before it, its abilities do not include nuclear traits at all, it is a master of magnetic fields. Outside the movies, it is often used by kids for monster battles and once held the title of strongest Godzilla.

Yet the official data is weaker than what the show presents, with a listed weight of only one hundred thousand tons, which is worth pointing out by itself. Setting aside outliers and fan versions like the Japanese Heisei Era cheaters and end bosses, if you look directly at Legendary Godzilla, a three hundred meter giant somehow weighs about the same as one from Legendary Pictures. One is three hundred meters, one is around a hundred meters, both about one hundred thousand tons, which makes this one light like a soda can by density.

In theory, whether it is Showa Era, Heisei Era, or the big guy, any of them could easily throw this much larger body over their shoulder. Then you look at the show, where it just walks around and every step shakes mountains. That is why Belial always treats the official numbers as a joke.

But one thing is certain. This monster is absolutely strong. When the template finished loading onto him, Belial felt more than simple stat boosts.

For some reason, he could sense things around him more easily, not just energy traces but deeper layers. He seemed to see tangled lines of light stretching into the past and the future, the past bright and the future dark, with past, present, and future of things appearing at once. Sensing too much was not good either, as he felt like he was standing near a sewage pit, surrounded by disgusting smells.

The space around him felt the same, tangled and uneven, without order, like a broken puzzle that made him nauseous. His first thought was simple. He wanted to fix this trash environment.

Then he turned his head and saw the mechanical version of himself aiming its cannons at his allies behind him, and he panicked. His tail rose by instinct. Belial's body was made of living cells, flesh and muscle fibers, not the metalized plant fibers of Godzilla Earth, so in theory he could not use that skill set.

The problem was that he did not care about theory. The electromagnetic power appeared in another form. Between every cell gap, living bodies had currents too, nerves and bioelectricity, and those also formed magnetic fields.

Now the bioelectric currents inside Belial were thousands of times stronger. Each cell seemed to rub at high speed with its own will, producing even stronger currents. Countless cell currents linked together, and with his control over energy, they formed an electromagnetic field equal in range to Energy Field.

Even the ecological domain controlled by Ludwig was forced out, displaced by something of higher quality. As his tail swung, a high-temperature light appeared at the tip of the crystal tail spear. With the power and traits of three Godzilla layered together, a plasma slash burst out.

The brilliant light carried lethal force, with extreme heat and speed. In an instant, it cut off the lower half of Ludwig's body in the distance. It also sliced smoothly into the underground Nanometal city the Lord body, severing a full third of its mass and destroying the microscopic Nanomachines connections.

The cut tore all the way to the city outskirts, splitting open a deep Canyon. At a deeper level, the chaotic rules here were redefined by harder physical laws, and the local ecology was rewritten. Ludwig was stunned, his mind blank.

He could not believe his domain was destroyed, his Nanometal split apart, and that after fighting evenly, he was suddenly cut in half. He tried to repair his body, but the severed metal edges were polluted by some force that resisted his control and even began to corrode other parts. The Nanomachines broke down piece by piece, spreading like a chain reaction as interaction forces collapsed.

"My domain, my Laws. You destroyed them. No, you rewrote the Laws here, inside my domain?" He babbled in shock, but Belial only understood one thing. This bastard had tried to steal his home again.

"Then bite down and endure it. I am about to hit you with ten, no, nine tenths of my power and beat you to death. You should not have messed with me." His roar carried near-solid sound waves, blasting visible white air forward as buildings shook and crumbled, Nanomachines breaking apart and space itself warping.

The super vibration wave swept in like a tsunami, covering one sixth of the entire nanometal city. Clouds and distant mountains were blasted with massive holes. Ludwig raised his wings and thick walls in defense, but his huge body was still flung away like trash, slamming into a distant wall.

The dense Nanometal armor shattered rapidly, reduced to basic particles. His body sparked and exploded like a blockbuster spectacle, with internal structures destroyed. One blast was not the end.

Sensing changes in the environment and his grip on magnetic fields, Belial clenched his fist. Before he even struck, a brutal and oppressive aura burst out. Driven by rage, his already great power multiplied several times over.

This overwhelming force was about to smash into Ludwig's head. He shouted a single continuous cry of magnetic rotation, space domain, wailing soul power, and anti-gravity magnetic force, ending with a Space Burst Punch. Pure will held the magnetic field strong enough to keep him floating, while gravity control pushed his speed to the limit.
