Each of the massive figures, standing at 7-8 meters in height and radiating peak 2nd-phase power, was a bone golem. Eliminating the frail weakness of the normal undead, these were overflowing with physical power, with a high defensive constitution. Although they were fewer in number, the difficulty increased tremendously. The students were faced with a new form of terror. Unable to adapt completely to this form of the enemies, too many of them started to die, almost akin to bugs being squashed.
Not to mention, even though the secondary front of students had eliminated more than 3000 of the undead, they spent too much of their energies and stamina; they were dead tired, exhausted, and injured, only to now face a horde of enemies much, much stronger than before in every possible way.
