Axel grabbed the head of Balen Vex and ripped his skull out of the shoulders through sheer brute force. Leaving an incomparably gruesome scene. Axel threw the ripped-off head to the ground without a care in the world.
He turned to Gareth and smiled, "Good job, implanting the anti-rune element in this main killing formation. Otherwise, I would have really died."
Gareth nodded, "It wasn't too difficult, actually. This idiot trusted me wholeheartedly just because of all the vows and contracts of Prime Nexus."
Axel stated, "Mason Vex definitely has a way of knowing the death of Balen and so many of the Elders, though I have blocked a kilometer around the area of the mansion with various barrier-based artifacts, we can't stay here for too long. I presume you weren't able to open the family treasure vault?"
Gareth shook his head, "No, it's too complex. I'm afraid just using the anti-rune element would rather backfire, instead of cracking it."
