Chapter 6 - Stay A While

She wondered why it never clicked. The basketball posters should've given her a hint, but she was too riled up about her ex's mouth inside someone else's to even consider it.

His hair was wet, his chest glistening with water droplets, and his body was god-like. All firm pecs, muscular arms, and ripped abs.

"Green eyes?" His voice held a hint of surprise. "This room is off limits. How'd you end up here?"

Doris snapped back to reality. "Y-you're half naked."

He smirked, coming toward her. "So?"

"I-I should go."

She turned to leave, but he grabbed her hand. "Wait," he said softly. "Stay a while."

Doris nodded slowly, swallowing nervously.

"Of all the rooms in this house, you somehow manage to end up in mine," he teased, taking a step toward her. She stumbled back, her back hitting the door.

"I-I wanted to get away from everyone," she stuttered nervously.

Taylor chuckled. "Relax," he said, pressing his hand against the door and leaning in slightly, his gaze locking with hers. "I want you here."

Her eyes drifted down to the towel around his waist, her cheeks turning an even deeper shade of red. "Uh… you should go put on some clothes first," she muttered, flustered.

Taylor smiled, growing hard. "I can't stop thinking about you," he admitted, his voice hoarse with desire.

Her head snapped up at his words, those wild green eyes gazing into his. "Why?" she asked in a whisper.

"I don't know," he answered honestly, stepping closer. "I just… can't."

Her gaze dropped to his lips, and Taylor fought to keep his composure. His hand clenched into a fist at his side as the urge to kiss her became overwhelming.

He took a small step closer, his breath shallow. "We had a moment at school today, Doris."

Her eyes widened as she feigned innocence. "What moment?"

Taylor smirked. Reaching out, he took a lock of her dark hair and toyed with it. "Perhaps this will jog your memory," he murmured, dipping his head, his face just inches from hers.

Her lips parted, teeth sinking into her bottom lip in that unconscious way that made Taylor's blood burn.

He was on the verge of losing his composure, but he managed to tear his eyes away from her mouth, meeting her gaze instead.

"Doris?" he asked, the question hanging in the air.

Her hands rose to frame his face, sending a shockwave of heat through him. Slowly, she pressed her lips to his, and that was all it took to drive him wild.

The kiss was brief, but it ignited something in him. As she pulled back, he looked at her in surprise, only for her to kiss him again. This time, it was intense, passionate. Her hands gripped his neck, pulling him closer. Taylor groaned, his hardness twitching against her legs.

Green Eyes was in his room, kissing him. His hand roamed down to her waist, pulling her against him, the other slipping to her ass, gripping it hard.

A moan escaped her lips, and that was all the encouragement Taylor needed. His hands moved to her thighs, lifting her easily, her legs wrapping around his waist.

They moved together toward the bed, the kiss growing hotter by the second. Her lips dragged over his bottom lip, sucking on his tongue, sending waves of desire coursing through him.

They fell to the bed, Doris still on top of him, and Taylor wasted no time in ripping off her t-shirt, throwing it aside.

His hand immediately found her breast through her soft bra and he sucked in a deep breath, his groin tightening even harder before smashing his lips back to hers.

"Fuck, Green eyes" he moaned into her mouth.

Her breath hitched, and when she pulled away, her cheeks flushed, and her pupils dilated in arousal. She moved her hands down his chest, over his abs, and Taylor couldn't help but notice the way her eyes lingered on his hardness.

She dropped her hands, looking shy, but Taylor cupped her face in his hands.

"Hey, look at me." He said softly. "You don't have to be shy around me."

He took her hand and placed it on the left side of his chest, above his racing heart, holding it there. For seconds, their gazes held.

"This... This is what you do to me," he said huskily. Then, glancing down at his erection, he looked at her.

"Touch it," he said. "I want you to touch it."

Just as things were about to escalate further, the door suddenly swung open, and Ryan barged in, causing Doris to fly off Taylor's legs in surprise. She scrambled for her t-shirt, throwing it on.

"Yo, get your ass…" Ryan froze mid-sentence, his mouth dropping open as he took in the scene. His eyes narrowed suspiciously as he folded his arms across his chest.

"So, this is why yo ass been missing." He said to Taylor.

"It- it's not what it looks like," Doris said quickly.

It was exactly what it looked like.

"Is that so?" Ryan turned his attention to her and gave her a very salacious once-over. Doris squirmed under the scrutiny of his stare.

Taylor got up slowly, rolling the towel around his waist and giving Ryan a warning glance

"You couldn't knock?"

"Oh, please, spare me. Since when do we get to knock before entering your room?" Ryan retorted.

Doris seized the moment to escape, slipping past Ryan and out of the room with a swish of her black hair.

Ryan play-punched Taylor's arm after she was gone, still grinning widely. "Yo!"

Taylor raked his fingers through his hair, the taste of Doris still lingering on his tongue. She'd been drinking, and that explained the bold move she made in kissing him.

"What was going on, man? She was all over you, a-and you're in a towel, and her tee was off and…" Ryan babbled excitedly, he couldn't even speak straight.

"Chill, man. We just kissed," Taylor muttered.

"Didn't look like you were planning on just kissing." Ryan looked at his towel and smirked when he saw his best friend was still aroused.

"Thanks for interrupting, by the way."

"I'm sorry, if I had known y'all horny asses were tearing at each others clothes, I wouldn't have bothered coming here"

"So why'd you come, spoilsport?"

"People were starting to notice your absence. I mean, who hosts a party and doesn't show? Especially Drake Taylor?"

"Whatever," Taylor muttered, pulling on a pair of briefs and slipping into a pair of Levi's jeans.

Ryan was leaning against the wardrobe, still giving him that look.

"You definitely would've banged her."

Taylor shrugged. "I don't think she's ready for that with me yet."

Ryan laughed, slapping him on the back. "C'mon, let's go."

Minutes later, they were downstairs, and Taylor's friends greeted him with some excitement. Roman raised a cup to acknowledge him. "Look who finally showed."

"What's up, man?" Taylor nodded to his friends and made his way over to where Roman and the others were standing. The conversation turned to basketball, football, and the party, but Taylor wasn't paying attention. His eyes scanned the room for Doris.

A flock of female sophomores swarmed around him, eager to get his attention.

"Hey, Taylor," they called out, giggling and throwing flirtatious smiles his way.

One of them, a brunette with braces, smiled at him. "Why don't we take the party upstairs? You know… to your room."

Taylor opened his mouth to respond when his gaze landed on Doris' ex, Bob, making out with Ann on the sofa. The same Ann he'd cheated on Doris with months ago.

And they were going at it on his favourite sofa.

The audacity made his blood boil.

Fuck.

He couldn't let Doris see him. He looked around the room again for her, only to spot her heading toward him, an angry "V" forming between her brows. Even angry, she was so fucking hot.

"Taylor," she snapped, interrupting whatever the girls were saying to him and ignoring the hostile stares they threw her way as she pulled on his arm possessively. "I need to talk to you."

"Hey, can't you see he's..."

"Back off," she snapped and looked up at him, the grip on his arm tightening. "You're coming with me. Let's go. Now"

"Yes, ma'am. I'm all yours."

Eagerly, he thrust his cup into the hands of one of the females and followed her to a less crowded section in the living room.

"Okay, what was that?" he asked with amusement. "It was hot, but why do you look so pissed?"

"Did you see Bobby?" she asked impatiently. "He had the nerve to make out with Ann right after I saw him kissing Yolanda."

What a man slut.

"Fuck, I'm sorry you had to see that. Do you wanna go somewhere else?" Taylor offered, stepping closer.

"No, I'm fine," Doris snapped, her arms crossed.

"You don't seem fine," Taylor said, raising an eyebrow.

She stared at his lips, and before he could say anything, yanked on his collar and kissed him again, hard.
