Chapter 5 - CHAPTER 5 : Lost

Seeing his serious expression, she took a deep breath. After a moment of contemplation, she finally decided to tell him the truth.

"Ask the waiter to leave the room first," she said.

"You can leave," Rohan waving his hand.

"Okay, sir," the waiter said with a bow.

Taking a deep breath, she began, "I am not from this world. I was planning to surprise my boyfriend, but I caught him in an unsighly state with my sister. Angry and hurt I drove off and got into an accident, and that is how I ended up in this body and this world." She waited for a reply,

but none came.

Rohan simply ordered their food, and they ate in silence.

"Do you want to try seeing a doctor with me?" Rohan asked out of nowhere.

Hearing that, she almost choked on her food. "Are you trying to say I am mad?" Rein asked, sounding angry.

"No," Rohan replied coolly. "I am just asking."

After their meal, they entered back into the carriage. Their next destination was the castle.

Upon seeing the mansion, Rein was both captivated and shocked. It was a massive structure—castle-like. Its stood tall and unshakable, sending a chill down her spine with it's ominous presence.

It resembled those haunted houses back on Earth; Places that Rein had always been too scared to enter.

"Oh, you are scared," Rohan said with a smirk, clearly amused by her behavior she could jump out of a window but was scared a "castle"

"Let's go," he added, The coachman had already opened the door, waiting for them to step out.

Having no choice, Rein came down from the carriage walking behind Rohan.

"Second Master," the guards stationed at the gate bowed as a sign of respect.

"Mm," Rohan nodded, acknowledging their greeting.

Rein's appearance drew the attention of many servants, who wondered why she was wearing their master's clothes—and who she was.

Unbothered by their gaze, Rein could not hide the curiosity in her eyes as she took in the entirety of the castle. Then her gaze landed on a figure seated on a chair, a presence so commanding, it demanded attention.

As she walked a little closer, his features became clearer. He sat there like a shadow carved into stone—rigid and unmoving, with a dark, piercing gaze devoid of emotion, watching Rein's every movement. His face was sculpted with harsh precision—a sharp jawline, high cheekbones, and thin lips that rarely smiled. Midnight-black hair was slicked back, revealing a tall, proud forehead and brows drawn into a permanent look of judgment.

"First Brother, you are here?" Rohan asked, surprised to see his elder brother seated there. He had not expected him today.

Rein's eyes never left the man in the chair. Her curiosity grew.

Noticing her gaze, Rohan decided to introduce him. "This is Fred, my eldest brother, and also one of the Alphas who purchased you."

At the word purchased, her curiosity vanished, replaced by disgust.

"Birds of a feather flock together. I can see stupidity runs in the family. That is why you would purchase a woman as property just to produce an heir," Rein said bluntly. Though she was scared by his and aura that's was around , but that didn't mean she wasn't going to say her mind.

For the first time, a flicker of surprise crossed Fred's face. He had led this family for years, and as an Alpha, he had mastered the skill of reading people's hidden emotions. That was how he sensed Rein's fear immediately. So what gave her the nerve to say such words so bluntly?

So fierce

Rohan noticed the shock on his brother's face and was equally surprised that his elder brother wasn't annoyed. "Elder Brother, you can see she is a feisty one."

"I can see," Fred replied flatly, his voice void of any emotion. "Sit down," he added, looking directly at Rein.

She stood still for a few seconds, legs already aching, Realizing she had no reason to refuse. "Okay," she said, walking to the chair near Fred and sitting down, Rohan followed and took a seat as well.

Fred wasted no time. He cleared his throat.

"I am sure you already heard before arriving, you have been sold to five Alpha brothers. Your role is to give bear an heir. Each week, one of them will take their turn."

"Okay," Rein said, nodding her head,

Which made Rohan confused at how quickly she agreed—until:

"They can each have their turn with me, but they will never have sex with me.

Do these people think I'm a prostitute

The bluntness with which she said the word "sex" shocked Fred greatly.

"You are a lady. Watch the way you speak in this mansion," Fred said, warning her. "We have rules here that you must follow: Do not swear, you are not allowed outside your room after midnight, and do not attempt to escape, or you will be severely punished. The maids will also show you the rooms you are not allowed to enter." He paused. "Do you understand?"

"Who knows?" Rein said. She had no intention of obeying any of those rules, especially the part about escaping. She was already thinking of how to do just that.

"Rein!" Rohan called out, giving her a warning look.

"What? You kidnapped me into your house, and now you expect me to obey your rules?" Rein asked sarcastically. "No can do, mister."

"Myra, Vessa," Rohan called out.

"Sir," they echoed.

"Take her to the room prepared for her and help her bath," he ordered.

"Okay, sir," they said with a bow, holding both her hands side by side.

"Can you both leave me alone? I am not handicapped," Rein said, pulling her hands back.

"Okay," they both said, moving ahead, though Rein could have sworn she heard one of them sneer.

But was she bothered?"No"

She was about to leave when she remembered the Alphas in the room.

"Bye," she waved at them, only to receive odd looks, as if she were an alien.

Climbing the old wooden stairs, which she found rather outdated, she muttered, "They don't even have an elevator," rolling her eyes in disgust.

Reaching the top floor, she noticed the maids walking faster than her. But was she bothered? No. She used the opportunity to scout for an escape route.

She could not go through the living room, so she searched for another exit. Without thinking or hesitating, she walked down the opposite passage from where the maids had gone. She kept moving down

the dim corridor, her footsteps light and her heart steady.

Before she knew it, she was lost.
