"Bang! Boom! Boom!"
The sound of gunfire echoed from the pirate ship.
Under the natural advantage of the murlocs, the human pirates were being ruthlessly slaughtered.
"How is this happening?!"
"The guns aren't working at all!!"
"Damn it!!"
Faced with the overwhelming assault, the humans screamed in panic.
But their terrified cries didn't move the murlocs' hearts—in fact, it only made them more excited to kill.
"Pfft...!"
"Aaagh!!!"
Screams, wails, and the sound of flesh being torn apart filled the air.
The humans were being completely crushed.
Watching the one-sided slaughter, the eight-armed leader of the New Murloc Pirates, Icarus, chuckled coldly.
"Heh, heh... You see that, humans?"
"The price for resisting us... is death!"
Just then—
"Clang!"
With a sharp metallic sound, the captain of the human pirates drew his long blade and glared at Icarus.
"I've fought murlocs before!"
"Do you think we made it this far without going through hell?!"
"You're just a fish!!"
"Don't underestimate humans!!"
"Idiot!!!"
With a roar, the captain charged at Icarus, blade in hand.
"Whoosh!"
Icarus, wielding eight spears with his eight arms, grinned savagely.
"Underestimated...? You're the ones doing the underestimating!"
Before he finished speaking, Icarus moved.
Four of his spears thrust at the human captain simultaneously, the speed so fast it tore through the air with a boom.
"Om!!"
"Pfft!!"
Dark red blood sprayed into the sea.
In just a flash, the captain was pierced by four spears.
"Thud!"
The captain collapsed to the deck, blood pooling beneath him.
Icarus sneered.
"The strength of our murloc arms is ten times greater than yours by nature!"
"And this is our territory—underwater!"
"Take a good look at the situation, human!!!"
As he raised his spear for the finishing blow, a voice suddenly shouted nearby.
"Hey! Icarus, look over there!"
Icarus paused.
He turned his head instinctively and saw not far away—a coated ship flying the flag of a skull wearing a blindfold slowly sailing toward them.
"...Humans?" Icarus muttered.
A savage grin appeared on his face.
"Perfect timing."
"We'll kill this group of escapees and charge straight into them!"
He was just about to move when Dothan, standing beside him, quickly grabbed his arm, looking extremely tense.
"Wait! Icarus!"
"Look at that flag closely!"
Confused, Icarus glanced at the flag but saw nothing out of the ordinary.
He looked back at Dothan with a frown.
"It's just a flag. What's the big deal?"
"Why are you so nervous?"
Dothan's eyes widened in disbelief. He swallowed hard and rasped:
"That flag belongs to the Kamui Pirates!"
"They caused a riot at Marine Headquarters not long ago and destroyed Marineford!"
"They're known as the Fifth Emperor of the Sea!
"Their captain, Kronos, is called the most ruthless emperor alive!"
At Dothan's words, both the murlocs and humans nearby froze in place.
Everyone instinctively turned to look at the approaching ship.
"The... Fifth Emperor?!"
"Someone like that showed up here?!"
"Unbelievable... they're really the ones who destroyed Marineford?!"
"Their bounties are insane! Every one of them is at least over 100 million!"
The air was thick with tension and murmurs.
But Icarus only grinned even more wildly.
"Hey, Dothan... don't you think this is an opportunity?"
"This is our world—the deep sea!"
"He's just a newcomer. Compared to the Four Emperors, he's nothing!"
"If we defeat them and take the Fifth Emperor's head, our dream will be one step closer!"
"Fisher Tiger's pain..."
"Arlong's will..."
"The suffering of our race ends with us!"
"This is our moment—the rise of the New Murloc Pirates!"
Dothan's eyes trembled. He slowly released his grip on Icarus's arm.
With a mad laugh, Icarus pulled three red-and-blue pills from his pocket and swallowed them whole.
"Gulp!!"
Within seconds, a surge of power erupted through his body.
His eyes turned blood-red as he roared:
"Jie hahahaha!!!"
"Boys—CHARGE!"
"Crush these humans and take down the Fifth Emperor!!"
Bending his knees, Icarus launched forward like a cannonball.
"Boom!!"
"Whoosh!!"
The ship's deck cracked under the explosive force of his jump.
All around, dozens of murlocs roared and followed Icarus, swallowing the same pills and rushing toward the Kamui Pirates.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!"
At the same time—
On the deck of the Kamui Pirates' ship.
As the murlocs charged at them with terrifying speed, Kronos and his crew immediately turned in unison.
They saw a wave of murlocs heading their way.
"That aggressive posture... are they seriously going to attack us?" Gojo Satoru laughed as he leaned on the railing.
He lifted his hand, power gathering at his fingertips.
Then—he snapped his fingers.
"Click!"
The spell activated.
A deep, echoing hum reverberated through the water.
"BOOM!!!"
In the next moment, a series of muffled explosions rang out.
Before the murlocs could even get close—
They were obliterated in an instant, reduced to clouds of blood in the water.
"Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom..."
"Pfft!!"
