Chapter 213 - 213 Reactions from all parties

Since their debut, the Kamui Pirates had risen quickly through the ranks of the strong. Their ascent to becoming a Fifth Emperor crew was incredibly fast.

After the last Summit War, they went on to conquer the nation of Dressrosa.

Naturally, the original Four Emperors weren't too pleased with this.

Kronos had expected Big Mom and Kaido to be the first to react, but surprisingly, it was the Whitebeard Pirates who struck first—and they struck hard.

This was something Kronos never expected. He didn't think Whitebeard would act so quickly.

Of course, for Kronos, this wasn't a problem.

If one wished to rule the seas of the New World, then clashes with the Four Emperors—Whitebeard, Big Mom, Kaido, and Red-Haired Shanks—were inevitable.

Now, facing Whitebeard again—someone he had already fought before—Kronos actually welcomed the opportunity.

If, during this process, other factions tried to interfere, Kronos wouldn't hesitate to crush them. Wiping them all out would be the best course of action.

At the same time, it wasn't just Kronos's crew who received the news.

The other three Emperor crews had also heard about Whitebeard's occupation of Kronos's territory.

Their camps fell into chaos, with heated debates breaking out on how to respond.

Red-Haired Pirates Headquarters.

Beckman brought the latest newspaper to Shanks and the others, reading through it carefully.

Shanks stared at the paper, a troubled look on his face.

"It seems Whitebeard is getting impatient," he said calmly. "He's trying to prove that they're still the strongest crew on the seas."

"We just came out of a brutal war at Marineford, and now he wants to fight Kronos?"

"The people around Kronos are all monsters with strange and powerful abilities. It's hard to predict how that battle will play out."

Shanks analyzed the situation objectively.

He clearly understood the chain of events that had led to the new conflict.

Without Kronos's interference during the war at Marineford, the Whitebeard Pirates, including Whitebeard himself, would likely have perished at the hands of the Marines.

It was thanks to Kronos's disruption that Whitebeard had escaped that fate. There was no doubt about it.

If it were up to Shanks, he would never choose to go to war with Kronos under these conditions.

"There's another point," Shanks added. "The Kamui Pirates just took down the Donquixote Family and claimed Dressrosa."

"I still can't believe Kronos's crew is strong enough to take down Doflamingo and then immediately challenge Whitebeard."

Beckman nodded thoughtfully. He understood the strength of the Donquixote Family from the perspective of a veteran.

Even if Red-Haired Pirates themselves had clashed with Doflamingo, they likely wouldn't have come out unscathed—certainly not without some damage.

"Doflamingo was a tough opponent," Beckman admitted. "The Kamui Pirates really might have the power to shake up the balance of the New World."

"Shanks, what should we do?" asked Lucky Roo, munching on a drumstick. "Should we go take a look? Is this a chance for us to make a move?"

Everyone knew the core of their crew was still Shanks. Whatever action they took would depend entirely on his decision.

During the Summit War, they had already stepped into the chaos once.

Now, they waited to see whether Shanks planned to step into it again.
