Uchiha Madara's tone dripped with disdain—
Completely ignoring Akainu!
If this had been said half an hour earlier, few Marine soldiers would have believed him. But after what they had just witnessed, how could they not?
"Uchiha Madara is already this powerful… then how strong must Kronos be, as his captain?"
A Marine soldier muttered in disbelief.
"It's said that Captain Kronos once defeated Whitebeard single-handedly!"
A Marine Headquarters Captain spoke gravely, revealing something that made everyone's hearts tremble.
The gathered Marines were shocked once again.
"What?!"
"Kronos defeated the world's strongest man—alone?"
"That's impossible!"
"When did this happen?" a Rear Admiral asked, his voice shaking with doubt.
"I heard it from a Whitebeard Pirate we captured. He swore it was true, and I could tell he wasn't lying!" the Captain insisted. He was utterly convinced the report was genuine.
Meanwhile, on Honeycomb Island—
The crew of the Kamui Pirates, who had been watching the battle unfold from the beginning, were overjoyed. Kronos' judgment once again proved flawless.
"Maybe the captain was right," someone said. "In less than an hour, Uchiha Madara will finish everything. I really underestimated this old friend."
Senju Hashirama let out a long sigh. Though glad for Madara's strength, he also felt a burning determination—he could not allow himself to fall behind.
He and Madara had always been rivals. Even if they were now in another world, even if decades passed, their battle would never truly end until one of them finally fell.
Hashirama didn't want to lose. Not in battle, not in spirit.
Many of the crew were now rethinking their view of Madara. His power far surpassed what they had imagined.
Bang (Silver Fang) nodded in agreement, saying with respect,
"If I were to face him, I'd likely end up just like Akainu."
Even Yoriichi Tsugikuni, who rarely praised others, spoke up:
"To be honest… his Fire Style can rival my Sun Breathing. I wonder if I'll have the chance to test it one day. To see whose fire truly burns brighter."
Gojo Satoru didn't speak. But his eyes, usually playful, were fixed on the battle with rare focus. A contemplative light flashed in them from time to time. What was this carefree lunatic thinking? No one could tell.
Meanwhile, Albedo immediately showered praise on Kronos, eager to flatter her captain.
"The captain was right all along!" she declared, her eyes sparkling with adoration.
"Akainu is no match for Uchiha Madara!"
Her gaze lingered on Kronos, full of admiration, her heart pounding with even greater devotion.
