It didn't take long for the screaming to begin.
"W-wait, wait, wait! Hold on a second!" Emilia's voice practically tore as she spoke, loud enough to make both of the others flinch and pull their phones away from their ears for a moment. "Sarah, are you telling me you actually met Kaiden in real life?!"
"Yes!" Sarah squealed with all the smugness in the world.
Leia groaned dramatically. "Unbelievable. You're so lucky. Meanwhile, I'm huddled down in my basement like a rat, listening to my infuriating brother yap on the phone with his girlfriend about it being okay and how he will protect her."
Sarah and Emilia were privy to a fourth voice making its presence known.
