The pieces aligned fast once they started moving. Power left the giant, compressing into the orb. "The Demonic Pornstar System…"
Her eyes snapped back to Kaiden as realization hit.
"Tasked by its maker, the system found you," she murmured, chest tight. "It chose you as the Successor."
Aria lifted her hands slowly, watching energy gather at her fingertips.
"And you chose me. You accepted me as your Valkyrie, your partner for life. Empowered by the system, you granted me my powers so that I can stay at your side…"
