"It's about time," Professor Gareth muttered as he looked at the hourglass by his side. The top bulb had almost been emptied.
A minute or two more, and the two-hour grace period for the students would end. And when the time came, the Phantom Soldiers would appear. Their role was simple—eliminate all the students one by one.
The Professor couldn't help but sigh as he thought of the Headmaster's words.
"Believe in our students. They can handle this."
Professor Gareth didn't know where the Headmaster's confidence was coming from.
'They're just First Years,' Professor Gareth thought. 'What can they possibly do?'
After interrogating the Demon Worshiper, the Headmaster had ordered Professor Gareth to keep the information to himself. He was not to divulge what they had learned to anyone, and that included his son, the treasurer of the student council.
