"Eva, Astrea, I am about to tell the two of you something very important," Alex said in a serious tone. "Please listen to me carefully."
Seeing his expression, Evangeline and Astrea knew the young man hadn't brought them to the old library to fool around.
The two ladies quieted down, controlling even their breaths as they waited for him to tell them why he had invited them for a private talk.
"As you may already know, the Aetherion Empire will send exchange students here to the academy," Alex stated.
Hearing his words, both ladies' expressions turned solemn.
They knew about their lover's background, so anything related to the Aetherion Empire must be treated seriously.
"Did Uncle Luthor say anything?" Evangeline asked.
