"What?" Johnnie was stunned, and couldn't help but cry out.
He frowned slightly, communicating with Coco in his mind, and asked, "What's wrong with Maiev?"
Johnnie didn't believe Maiev would keep anything from him.
Maiev was the first, and also the only god to acknowledge him as master. She was one of the people he trusted the most.
"It seems like she isn't her true self, but an avatar." Coco's voice came through.
An avatar?
Johnnie was even more shocked. He couldn't help but think, "Are you kidding me? If even her avatar is a god, just how strong is Maiev's true form?"
After a long moment, Coco spoke again, sounding uncertain, "I'm not completely sure either, but the Maiev you see now is definitely not her real self."
Johnnie fell silent. Maiev did seem a bit special. Other gods could create avatars, but Maiev never had one.
He had asked her about it before.
