Cassian's POV
1 month has passed after i decided to teach Luna Swordmanship. At first i thought maybe she will give up after few days but to my surprise she came every day after our duties are finished.
After i teach her about sword then she would explain me some spells which i can use with my current capabilities.
Luna is an A-rank Healer so she knew a lot of spells both low and high-level. Her understanding is better then mine so she even improved my use of mana in basic spells.
Luna was surprised I already detoxification and Area Heal as these spells are only given to D-rank or above .
Now I was even more greatful to Mira and the healer's guild they really treated me well.
'Slash'
"Swing a little more harder " I said to Luna
SLASH
"Like this " Luna asked after swinging a little harder.
"Here watch this " as I said, i gripped the sword with both hands and raised them in the air. I bend my legs to take a stance. Then,
" SLASH, SLASH SWOOSH " the blade moved as if cutting through the air itself making a clean move .
"Just like that " I said after i swing my blade three times.
"Wow, Just how can your moves be so beautiful? Why not mine? " Luna pouted started throwing a tantrum.
"if only you got beaten up by an orc for six months your swordmanship would have been better than mine" I said to her with a dead serious face.
" What an Orc ? He taught you this?" She asked before taking a step back.
"Well he looks like an orc but he is a Human you see just like the panda chef we have here" I explained her
"Ah- you mean like that, well panda is really cute so it's fine but an Orc, are you sure it's safe" she asked while worrying about me.
'Its not safe you girl, but who can stop that Orc ' i wanted to say this but I kept my mouth shut .
"Don't talk nonsense, focus on your sword" I said to her as I gave her a chop on the head.
"Oww, that's hurt you know" Luna sulked while rubbing her head.
'this girl, i can't believe its the same cold girl, who is now acting cute infront of me.'
' I mean who would believe that she was stalking me a month ago.' i thought as I shook my head .
'sigh...'
Just like that Two hours passed in which I helped her in basic sword stances and taught her how to hold a blade.
A wanted to be as strict as that Damn Orc but this 'kind body of mine' didn't let me.
Luna's physical strength was not bad actually she could run as fast as me so I didn't have to waste my time on that part.
She still came to join me for training sometime. Actually Church also has a Gym for training your body I just didn't know until Luna told me .
After she told me, I started to go there as I can find many equipment which will help me with my exercises. The atmosphere of the gym is also nice. No one disturbs me since I don't know anyone and they don't know me as well.
" You ready Cassian " Luna asked me .
" Yeah " i said to her .
Currently she is teaching me pain recovery magic — a magic that can nullify all the pain. I thought it would be easy but it wasn't.
Everytime she will make a small cut in my hand and ask me to nullify the pain. She is teaching me this for 2 weaks but I still don't quite understand.
"Not likes this Cassian. Pain is also be an emotion to nullify it you need a more stronger emotion. The more the pain the stronger the emotion is needed to nullify." Luna explained
"Think of any memories in which you are happy, use those emotions with your mana to nullify the pain in your hand" Luna added as she cut my hand a little more .
"A memory huh? " I thought as she explained.
As i closed my eyes to see any good memories in this life. Surprisingly I found some where I was genuinely happy like when I was back in my village or when that hippo was getting beaten up by rock or when some people gave me tips as a thanks.
In all those moments I was actually happy just like Luna said I used my emotions and flow my mana towards the bleeding wound.
Now I can feel it the pain getting subsided slowly but surely it was working . I have learned though still not perfect but now I have got the feeling and that's enough for me .
I can master it on my own .
I can finally learn High Heal.
"Congratulations Cassian you finally learned a newly spell "Luna congratulated me with a proud grin.
"Thanks for your guidance Luna" I thanked her as she was the one who taught me .
" Well I only give you a hint but it's you who actually pull that off so you should be happy . Now you can get promoted to D-rank I am sure." Luna said .
" Well we will see that later. I am now going to adventurer guild to earn some more money " I told her as I made my way towards the exit.
Before going to adventurer guild i came back to my room to change my clothes as they were dripping with sweat. I wore my regular robe which was given to me as outdoor wear to make sure everyone knows i am from church.
Well thanks to that now people don't mess with me easily . Plus i later found that Excorcist are actually protected by the church . It turnes out to be a blessing in disguise.
I made my way towards the streets. Hmm calling them street sounds injustice to their beauty cause they are beautiful especially at night when the street lights glow in the dark and the marble on the floor reflects the light with the starry night and a beautiful moon . Its a full package of a beauty.
I am sure if someone tried to make a painting of here and auction it, he is gonna be rich.
Finally walking for ten minutes i reached the Guild . Even the guild is much bigger and fancier than my previous one.
Thank God there is no Orc or Bear here . Otherwise who knew if they were relatives.
Just as soon as I stepped inside the guild. The air went silent. Everyone was looking at me as if they were waiting for this moment their whole life.
"Not again " i thought as I braced myself for whatever was coming then immediately.
"Ohhh...Kind Healer "
"It's the kind healer "
"He finally came "
A lot of murmur could be heard people were treating me as if they have seen a god just because treat them for cheap price.
A month ago when I first came i almost got attacked when I asked them I want to take healing request.
Seriously just how much people hate healer's . Looks like I need to make a separate clinic in the future and hire some workers .
" All right who wants me to heal their wounds " i asked them at once.
"""" Me """" they all said in unison.
" All right " i said as i focused my mana into my hands and .
" Areal Heal " a green colored circle covered all of them emitting green light instantly healing their wounds one by one.
" Now it's time for my fees. 10 silver per person no discounts." I shouted clearly
"He is too kind "
"Yes, other healers ask gold coins just for this"
"I will give double just don't stop coming here "
People started saying a lot of things which I just ignored what I needed was money as long as I am here I will heal otherwise how am I going to earn more.
But who explained them this Hehe..
After healing them i went back to church as it was getting late.
I also had to eat dinner made by the panda or he would get angry.
