Chapter 64 Snowball
"I didn't expect this bomber to be Uncle Norman."
Back at the Base, Yang Le took off the Green Goblin Armor and tied Norman, who was only wearing underpants, to the Restraint Bed. Gwen naturally saw the true face of the Green Goblin.
"I wonder what Harry will think when he finds out."
"That's why we need to cure Mr. Osborn before he falls into the abyss."
Actually, before taking off the Green Goblin Mask, he wasn't sure that the Green Goblin was Norman. After all, this wasn't the Prime Universe he was familiar with, so he couldn't rule out the possibility of someone else becoming the Green Goblin.
Yang Le knew that the reason Norman became evil was because of another personality within him. That personality was the Green Goblin, and the Green Goblin was born because of the Enhancement Serum.
If we were to use DND terms, Norman himself is chaotic neutral, while the Green Goblin is chaotic evil.
Without the influence of the Enhancement Serum, Norman would at most be a black-hearted businessman, and would never become a Terrorist.
"I'm going to have to rely on you again, Omnitrix." Yang Le raised his left hand and looked at the Little Broken Watch on his wrist.
There are just too many Mutants in American comics. The Omnitrix's DNA Repair Function is really being put to good use here.
"Omnitrix, activate DNA Repair Function." Yang Le placed his left hand on Norman's body.
"Received. Mutant detected. Activating DNA Repair Function. Please wait."
Just like when he treated Peter, under the Green Light, Norman's body began to deform like Playdough, and finally returned to its original state.
"DNA Repair completed."
"That's it?" Gwen looked at Yang Le suspiciously.
Yang Le nodded and said, "Yeah, it's done. Mr. Osborn is normal now."
"I thought the DNA Repair would be really cool." Gwen looked a little disappointed. "I didn't expect it to be less impressive than the Projection Technology you showed me before."
"A little Special Effects is good enough. Practicality is what matters." Yang Le said, walking forward, untying Norman from the restraints, and covering him with a Blanket to prevent him from catching a cold.
"Now we just need to wait for Mr. Osborn to wake up." Yang Le returned to Gwen's side.
"I believe he'll tell us about the Radioactive Spider."
"Hopefully." Gwen didn't want to sound too optimistic. Her experiences from childhood told her that if expectations are not high, disappointment won't be great either.
Yang Le didn't dwell on this Topic, just patted Gwen's Head and said.
"Don't forget to feed Snowball."
"Oh, I almost forgot." Gwen was reminded by Yang Le and remembered the Little Guy. She quickly turned her Head and said.
"Come out, Snowball, it's time to eat."
As soon as Gwen finished speaking, the Spider Logo on her Back detached from her back, began to twist and deform, and finally turned into a Slime-like thing composed of black and white colors, with many Circuits on its Body.
The Slime climbed onto Gwen's Shoulders, extended a tentacle, and on it was a circle, which was its Eyes.
That's right, Snowball is a Splinter of Upgrade, split off from the Upgrade that Yang Le transformed into. It's the same type as "Ship" from the Ben 10 Universe. Yang Le specifically split it off to assist Gwen.
Yang Le had been thinking about how to upgrade Gwen's Battle Suit. He thought of the classic Nano Suit, and then naturally thought of Upgrade, a nanobot collective, and then he thought of "Ship." Thus, Snowball was born.
Snowball usually attaches to Gwen's Back, disguised as a Spider Logo, and Gwen uses the Spider Mask newly invented by Yang Le to issue commands and direct Snowball to transform into whatever she needs.
Just like the Jetpack and Laser Gun before.
"Snowball is so good." Gwen stretched out her Finger and poked Snowball. Snowball also affectionately rubbed Gwen's Finger and climbed onto Gwen's Palm.
Gwen took Snowball to its eating place, a Charging Pile. Snowball is different from ordinary Upgrade Splinters. After being modified by Grey Matter transformed by Yang Le, it has gained many interesting Abilities.
Looking at Gwen teasing Snowball, Yang Le couldn't help but smile, as if he were looking at his child and wife.
Gwen seemed to suddenly sense something, turned her Head to look at Yang Le, and happened to see Yang Le smiling.
Gwen frowned and said, "I always feel like you're thinking about something bad."
"You're wrong about that." Yang Le shook his Finger.
"What I'm thinking about now is something great."

"Where is... this?"
Norman wanted to open his Eyes, but the blinding Light made it impossible. He raised his right hand to shield them, and sat up, which caused the Blanket on his Body to slip off. Only then did he realize he wasn't wearing Clothes.
"Good morning, Mr. Osborn."
Norman was attracted by the sudden Sound and turned his Head to look. He found a humanoid figure covered in Flame standing beside him, looking at him.
Norman didn't panic, frowned, and said, "You are... the one who defeated the other me..."
"Heatblast." Yang Le said his name first. "You can call me Heatblast."
"Oh, okay." Norman nodded to show he understood.
"This Heatblast... sir?" Norman said uncertainly. Seeing Yang Le nod and accept his address, he continued to speak.
"Mr. Heatblast, I don't know what you've brought me to this place for?"
"We have some Business to ask you about." Gwen suddenly descended from the sky, startling Norman. She was hanging upside down in mid-air by a Web.
"We hope you can answer us honestly, otherwise..." Gwen's Eyes on her Mask narrowed into slits.
Yang Le understood and the Small Volcanoes on his Shoulders burned even more intensely.
The heat of the high temperature hit, and Norman's Skin turned red.
"OK, OK, I'll cooperate." Norman raised his hands, showing his harmlessness.
Gwen asked, "Not long ago, New York held an Expo. Among the Exhibits of Osborn Company, there was a Radioactive Spider. We want to know the Identity of its inventor."
Norman's pupils shrank. After glancing at Heatblast next to him, he sighed and said helplessly.
"Cindy Moon. The creator of that Spider is called Cindy Moon."
It seems Grey Matter's previous deduction was correct.
Yang Le and Gwen looked at each other and both nodded.
"Where is she?" Gwen continued to ask.
"I don't know." Norman answered immediately.
"I'm not lying to you. I really don't know where she is. My relationship with her was just mutually beneficial. Not long ago, she already abandoned me."
Norman said, unable to help but clench the Blanket covering his Body, looking very Anger.
"She didn't fulfill the Agreement between us. I gave her so much funding, but she kept researching her broken Radioactive Spider. The Enhancement Serum I asked for, she couldn't even produce a semi-finished product!"
