Chapter 85: Departure
"I still find it hard to believe," 616 Peter carefully examined his body. "After you shone that white light, we won't have rejection issues anymore, right?"
"If you don't believe me, you can take a look at this."
Yang Le was standing in front of the lab table, stepping aside to reveal a microscope.
Upon hearing this, 616 Peter leaned in, placing his eye to the eyepiece. Through the microscope, he could clearly see the cells on the slide.
These cells were visibly deteriorating at an alarming rate, the process mirroring the rejection reaction they had just experienced. After a mosaic-like effect, the cells lost their vitality.
"These are your hairs before stabilization," Yang Le explained.
"My hair?" 616 Peter touched his head. "When did you pull them out?"
"When you scratched your head, you lost a big bunch, which I picked up along the way," Yang Le shrugged, cutting deep into the middle-aged man's heart.
"And this is stabilized."
After saying that, Yang Le secretly plucked another hair from 616 Peter's head without him noticing.
"Ow!" 616 Peter reacted a beat late, glaring at Yang Le with resentment.
"Be careful, these are my precious 'assets.'"
"If you were healthier, you wouldn't need to be so protective of your 'assets.'"
Yang Le placed the strand of hair under another microscope. Letting 616 Peter look again, sure enough, the cell deterioration stopped.
"Amazing," Ultimate Peter also took a look, finding it hard to believe that such a creature existed in the universe.
"The effect of the stabilizing light only lasts about three days," Yang Le held up three fingers. "But I think it should be enough. Even though I could shine it on you again, I doubt anyone would wait that long."
"Then let's go tonight, to avoid complications," Shadow Spider suggested, pressing down his hat brim.
"Hey."
An unsure voice sounded, and everyone turned around to see Miles, looking troubled. It seemed he had something to say but didn't know how to bring it up.
"What's wrong, Miles?" Ultimate Peter came to his rescue. After all, Miles was brought here by him, and he had the duty to take care of him.
"Is there something you want to say? You can speak freely, I'll help you."
Ultimate Peter didn't promise for everyone; such coercive behavior was out of the question.
With Ultimate Peter's guidance, Miles hesitated repeatedly before finally voicing his concerns.
"Wanderer," Miles lowered his head, unable to look at everyone. "That purple guy, he's my uncle."
"What?" Spider Pig widened his eyes.
"You mean there's a spy in our base, for heaven's sake, children's cartoons don't even do this."
"I'm not a spy," Miles became emotional. "I only found out yesterday."
"Yesterday, I accidentally stumbled upon Spider-Man fighting villains. When the quantum collider was activated, Wanderer saved me. After saving me, to calm me down, he removed his mask, and I realized he was Uncle Aaron."
"Enemies turn into family," Spider Pig shrugged helplessly. "Such a classic plot twist."
"I beg you not to harm him," Miles ignored Spider Pig's comment and continued.
"Uncle Aaron is actually a good person; he must have been forced to do these things."
"I understand, Miles," Ultimate Peter placed a hand on Miles' shoulder, signaling him to calm down.
"I will, although I can't guarantee he won't get hurt at all, I assure you that your Uncle Aaron will return."
Miles looked into Ultimate Peter's eyes, which were clear and full of determination, except for the nervousness within himself.
"Thank you..."
616 Peter observed everything silently, unsure of what he was thinking.

"I never imagined Kingpin would keep such an unstable bomb right under his own basement."
616 Peter stood on the rooftop, shocked at the sight of Fisk Tower across the street.
"In fact, the disaster caused by the collider may be far greater than that of a bomb," Penny's voice came from the mech. "So his level of madness is indeed high."
"None of that matters. What's important is why are there so many people here?" 616 Peter groaned, holding his head.
As he said, Fisk Tower was bustling with people, many of whom were wealthy and influential, obviously upper-class individuals entering.
"Fisk Charity Gala," Penny opened the hatch, peering out, showing everyone the information she had gathered.
"Mr. Wilson Grant Fisk will host a three-day charity gala to help those in need, inviting people from all walks of life to attend."
"It seems Kingpin anticipated our arrival," Gwen said.
"Probably to be prepared," Shadow Spider offered a different opinion.
"Regardless of his reason, it looks like we can't directly confront Kingpin now," Ultimate Peter said with a headache.
Kingpin hosting a charity gala at this moment was clearly for him. If he went in and caused chaos now, the consequences would be unimaginable.
"Superheroes..." Spider Pig shook his head helplessly.
"I have an idea."
Yang Le drew everyone's attention.
"What's your plan, New York's idea king?" Gwen asked hopefully, knowing Yang Le never let her down.
Yang Le smirked mischievously, "We can't go in openly to cause trouble, but what if we change things up?"
"What do you mean by changing things up?" 616 Peter asked puzzled.
"If someone causes trouble, and Spider-Man goes to stop it?"
"You mean we find a villain to cause trouble, and we follow them in while causing confusion?" Ultimate Peter frowned.
"But where do we find a villain who will cooperate with us? And how do we ensure he'll listen?"
"The right villain is close to home," Yang Le patted his chest, leaving no room for misunderstanding.
Everyone's eyes lit up. Yes, Yang Le's bizarre transformations were indeed the perfect candidate.
"Transform into something really scary, kid," Spider Pig egged him on.
"Something that makes people pee their pants."
There was indeed such a thing, but I fear if I transform, our plan for today will fail.
Yang Le muttered in his mind, rolled his eyes at Spider Pig, and activated the Omnitrix, carefully selecting until he finally settled on a target and pressed the button.
"After all, if we're playing monsters, how can we overlook the classic dinosaurs?"
The white light faded, revealing a 4-meter-tall humanoid dinosaur clad in brown scales, with a white sash diagonally tied across its upper body and black shorts covering its lower body.
"Humungousaur"
