Chapter 364 - Chapter 556:560

Chapter 556: First to Kill One

Because of various reasons, in the Movie Universe, whether it's heroes or Villains, they have all experienced more or less weakening.

Take Corvus Glaive in front of us as an example. In the Comic Universe, besides the Super Strength and healing Ability that Powerful Being generally possess, the most talked about is his Peerless Blade.

This War Blade has the Setting of cutting objects at the Atomic Level. It can be said that there are very few things in the Universe that can block his Slash. Even Vibranium and Adamantium, which is even harder, would become like tofu in front of it.

Sounds very powerful, right? But that's all there is to it. This Blade is useless except for its sharpness. Only Corvus Glaive treats it like a treasure. He even bound himself to the War Blade, giving himself the Ability that as long as the Blade is not destroyed, he will not die.

Then he was eliminated by Thanos in the Comics. This Guy rebelled when Thanos was weak, but unfortunately, he was soon stopped head-on by Thanos who blocked the Slash of the Peerless Blade, and then crushed it to pieces. Corvus Glaive, knowing his time was up after losing his support, picked up the Fragment and committed suicide.

Logically speaking, since Thanos can directly block the Peerless Blade, Yang Le thinks that Kryptonians and Martians can also do this. But this is after all in Battle, even facing the weakened Peerless Blade, Yang Le still chose a more conservative approach.

After all, even if it's weakened, this Peerless Blade can still cut through Vibranium. Not everyone wants to be like that Metropolis boy who clearly can dodge but doesn't. The Farm boy has clearly stumbled many times on this but just doesn't learn his lesson.

"Cell...dodged...Slash?" Corvus Glaive repeated blankly what Yang Le had just said, obviously not understanding the meaning of Yang Le's Words.

"Is it hard to understand?" Yang Le frowned, then stretched out his Right Hand towards Corvus Glaive who was lying on the Ground. With a slight hook of his Finger, Corvus Glaive, who was originally lying on the Ground, was immediately pulled up by an invisible Power.

With a gentle wave, Corvus Glaive was summoned to Yang Le's Presence. Removing the Mind Control, Yang Le opened his Hands in front of Corvus Glaive, who was less than an arm's length away from him.

"Come again, this time you need to watch carefully."

"Boom!"

It was as if something exploded in his Head. Corvus Glaive's Face twisted and deformed. Strong Anger mixed with humiliation impacted his Brain. He was almost about to lose Reason.

"Swish!"

Lifting the War Blade, Corvus Glaive vented his martial arts skills accumulated over half his life as if in catharsis. The man-high War Blade was swung out with Afterimage, and in an instant, dozens of Slashes had been delivered.

However, Yang Le in front of him still did not dodge or evade, continuing to maintain an Opening posture, allowing Corvus Glaive to vent his Rage.

"Huff~ Huff~!"

After continuous Slashes for more than ten seconds, Corvus Glaive, suddenly feeling a lack of Qi, finally stopped swinging. Beads of sweat as large as beans slid down his Face. The Cloak, originally wet from being soaked in Fresh Blood and Sea water, was dried by the Body Temperature that rose after his strenuous Exercise.

But even though he was so disheveled, Yang Le in his Presence was still unscathed, without receiving any Damage. Corvus Glaive finally understood the meaning of Yang Le's Words.

"Didn't cut..." Corvus Glaive's narrow Eyes stared fixedly at the enemy in front of him. Since obtaining this War Blade, its invincible sharpness had made him dull. He never expected that now it would take him so long to react even to whether he had hit the Goal or not.

He had become stronger, but also weaker.

"Understand?" Yang Le Asked. Only then did Corvus Glaive realize that the other party had not actually opened his mouth to speak. The Sound had always been coming from his own Brain.

"You read my thoughts? No wonder my moves can't hurt you."

Corvus Glaive suddenly realized, obviously attributing his mistake of missing hundreds or thousands of Blade swings to Yang Le's Telepathic Ability.

"It's not that complicated." Yang Le shook his Head. "It's purely because your Blade Swing Speed is too slow."

Hearing Yang Le say this, Corvus Glaive experienced a brief moment of astonishment before laughing loudly. The laughter was so unpleasant that Yang Le frowned.

"Ugh!"

An invisible Power Controlled Corvus Glaive's Body, forcibly stopping his laughter, making him only able to make meaningless 'ge ge ge ge' Sounds.

Yang Le moved his Palm slightly backward, and Corvus Glaive's Body also moved with it, coming to Yang Le's side. He covered Corvus Glaive's Head with his Palm and activated the byproduct of Martian Telepathic ability - Mind Scan.

Just like a Computer reading USB Drive Information, in the blink of an eye, Corvus Glaive's Memory was read clean by Yang Le. Even his forgotten Memory from infancy was dug out by Yang Le.

"So that's how it is." Yang Le gently exhaled a mouthful of Foul air. "So it was you who killed Vision, Black Panther, and Wakanda's Guard. The initial kill Ability of the Peerless Blade is indeed extremely strong. With the cooperation of the other three generals, it's not surprising that you achieved such results."

"Emm, interesting. So Thanos is not on Earth. He has waited too long and lost Patience. Instead, he has gone to search for the whereabouts of other Gems. Unfortunately, you don't know where Thanos's Goals are."

"Hehehehehe!" Corvus Glaive wanted to struggle, but unfortunately, no matter how much Effort he made, he could not break free from Yang Le's Control.

"In that case, you are useless." Yang Le's Gaze narrowed. Corvus Glaive's Body below the neck began to rotate uncontrollably to the right, quickly exceeding the range that normal Creatures could deflect.

"Crack!"

A crisp sound of Skeleton breaking came. Corvus Glaive's Body fell powerlessly to the Ground, leaving only an ugly Head floating under Yang Le's Palm.

"Clang!"

The Peerless Blade, losing Control, fell to the Ground. Yang Le reached out and beckoned, and the War Blade immediately floated obediently into his Hand. Looking at this Treasure Blades that could cut through gold and jade, Yang Le disliked it no matter how he looked at it.

It was mentioned earlier that Yang Le simply couldn't stand this Blade. Picking it up now was just to Test some Things.

Manipulating the War Blade to float away from his Palm, he turned the Blade and aimed it at his Arm, cutting down.

Only a 'clang' sound was heard. The Peerless Blade was blocked outside of Yang Le's Skin. Moving the Blade away and looking at the white mark on his Skin, Yang Le nodded slightly.

As expected, Things in the Movie Universe have been weakened to varying degrees. Even though Yang Le did not increase his Body density to the strongest, this Blade still cannot cut through Martian Manhunter's Body. Thinking like this, this Blade definitely cannot break through Superman's Defense either.

Thinking that he had actually been outwitting and fighting bravely with this Thing for so long, Yang Le could only shake his Head with a wry smile. He could only Comfort himself with "caution is never wrong."

(End of Chapter)

"We really don't need to go out and take a look?"

In the Dormitory Area of the Plumbers Underwater Base, Steve looked worried. Even if the soundproofing of the Maintenance Dormitory was good, the sounds of battle from outside, bang bang bang, couldn't possibly not disturb them.

"Don't worry, Captain," Gutrot comforted Steve and the others. "Martian Manhunter is one of the aces of our Plumbers. Even against a thousand troops and horses, he can handle it alone."

As soon as he finished speaking, three soft knocks came from the Door of the Dormitory. The Avengers immediately became alert, but Gutrot still looked relaxed. He knew that the person on the other side of the Door must be his Clone Technique, because this was the agreed-upon code they had set with Line of Sight.

As for whether it could be an enemy in disguise, Gutrot hadn't even considered this possibility. In the Movie Universe, there are no Supervillains who can silently and unknowingly take care of Martian Manhunter.

"It's me." A firm and steady voice came from Outside the door. It was Yang Le's voice after transforming into a Martian.

"It's him." Gutrot turned his head to reassure Steve and the others' emotions, and then shouted to himself Outside the door.

"Come in."

As soon as he finished speaking, Steve and the others, who were originally wondering why Gutrot didn't open the Dormitory Door, suddenly saw a green bald head emerge from the tightly closed Metal Gate.

"Let me introduce you guys." Gutrot pointed his hand to another self beside him. "This is one of the aces of our Plumbers, Code Name Martian Manhunter."

"Hello everyone." Martian Manhunter nodded. If you ignored the Head dripping with Blood in his hand, and the War Blade in his other hand, even with his special appearance, many people would probably think he was a person with a good Personality.

"This is… General Corvus Glaive's Head!?" Falcon Sam, who had just woken up not long ago, looked at the Head in Martian Manhunter's hand in surprise. Even Martian Manhunter's peculiar way of appearing seemed insignificant at this moment.

"Not only that." Natasha's Body trembled slightly. Although she tried to suppress her Emotion, anyone could see that she was not as Peaceful as she appeared on the surface.

"That War Blade is also General Corvus Glaive's Weapon."

"This is the strongest one among the Invaders." Martian Manhunter slowly floated to the presence of the others. "I think he should be an enemy General, so I captured him, and after reading all of his thoughts, I killed him."

"Please forgive my presumption. I know he has a deep hatred with you, but in order to prevent him from having any Backup Plan, I had to do it for you."

"No need for that, Mr. Martian Manhunter." Steve looked at the Head and War Blade in presence with emotion. The enemy he used to dream of killing, now really died in his presence. For a moment, multiple Emotions impacted Steve's Brain.

There was the pleasure of revenge, the annoyance of not being able to kill the enemy with his own Hand, and a firmer determination. These Emotions eventually turned into determination for the Future. Steve only felt as if his whole Body lightened.

"Thank you very much for the help you have provided to us."

That confident Smile reappeared at the Corner of Mouth of Steve, just like Captain America of the past had returned.

"Wanda and Shuri will definitely like this Gift." Sam patted his Chest, and his happy Emotion was about to overflow from the Corner of Mouth.

Who knew that as soon as he said this, Natasha's Body stiffened, and then she said awkwardly, "That's really not certain…"

"Why do you say that, Natasha?" Steve turned his Head in confusion. "Why would Wanda and Shuri be unhappy about avenging Vision?"

Yang Le's Gaze flickered. From the few Words, he understood that Wanda in the Cinematic Universe still got together with Vision, and the one who broke them up was General Corvus Glaive.

"Shuri might be happy, but Wanda has always been thinking about avenging Vision herself." Natasha sighed. "Although she has some Fear of going to the Battlefield, but when General Corvus Glaive is mentioned, she is like a different person, her Spirit is very unstable."

Yang Le suddenly understood. So it was the Neurosis peculiar to Mage and Telepath. This thing is not uncommon, and Martian Manhunter can cure it.

"Let's not talk about things that may not happen yet." Clint waved his Hand. "This is good News, don't spoil the fun at this Time, we must tell everyone in the Shelter about this."

"That's right!" Sam looked excited. "It's been a long time since there was such good News. Last Christmas, everyone had a Death energy atmosphere."

"An appropriate Party can boost Human Heart." Steve also smiled. "This is indeed good News that needs to be celebrated, even if it is shabby, we must hold one."

Steve didn't mention moving Supplies at this Time. When people were not here, they could still move some for survival, but now that the Master has returned, they can't mess around.

He planned to find an Opportunity to talk to Gutrot again to see if he could borrow some Supplies.

Who knew that Gutrot seemed to see through his embarrassment. The former gently patted Steve's Shoulder and said, "I can see that you are in difficulty. Let's give you this Base."

Yang Le was so generous for a Reason. This Base was originally built to facilitate Research after stealing various Technology. Now giving it to Steve and them is also considered paying Tuition.

Besides, he might not need this Place in the Future. It's better to make the best use of it. Yang Le was not a stingy person in the first place, so naturally there was no Feeling of reluctance.

"This…" Steve's eyes first lit up, and then dimmed down again. "Thank you very much for your generosity, but this Place has been exposed and is not suitable to be used as a Base anymore. We are already very Satisfied if you can give us some Supplies."

"Who said we are still going to stay here." Gutrot laughed loudly, and then pointed to Martian Manhunter beside him in the Gaze of Steve and others.

"Ace will find a Method to solve it."

Martian Manhunter did not refuse, just nodded and said, "Leave it to me. You only need to contact the remaining Partner to determine the Location of the gathering."

Looking at the mysterious Expression on Gutrot and Martian Manhunter's Faces, although Steve was puzzled, he still pressed the Communication Device and contacted the Partners in the Shelter.

"Beep beep! Beep beep!"

The suddenly sounded Sound woke up the man who was leaning over on the Table beside him. The man straightened up with a jolt. His long Hair and full beard covered his Cheek.

Even if you called someone who knew the man very well, they probably wouldn't recognize who the person in presence was, unless they looked at the faint Light emanating from his Chest through his Shirt.

The man wiped his Face, cheered himself up, and then hurriedly grabbed the Communicator beside him and pressed the call button.

"This is Stark."

Chapter 558 Long Time No See

"Are you sure Captain and the others asked us to wait here, Stark?"

A man with long blond hair and a thick beard looked at the Playboy in front of him, whose beard was just as long as his own. Before everything happened, no one would have imagined that a playboy would become so unkempt.

"At least the voice coming from the Communicator was definitely his." Tony rolled his eyes. "I asked for the code, and I even had Natasha and the others speak. Relax, Thor, I'm definitely more careful than you."

"Of course, if they've been Controlled, then forget I said anything."

Thor looked at the man's meticulous demeanor. He opened his Mouth several times but finally obediently closed it. He knew that if he pressed further, he would only be met with a barrage of verbal attacks.

Although the other party was originally someone who never admitted defeat, he had become even more neurotic since the Woman he loved died.

To keep his Ears clear, it was better to shut up early. Besides, their current Identities were not suitable for loud arguments.

At this moment, Thor and Tony were hiding in a dilapidated Building. The reason for choosing this place was not only because it had a good view, allowing them to observe the surrounding scenery while evading Thanos's Subordinates' pursuit.

Even more so because it was theoretically a dangerous Building. Even without Tony's precise calculations, Thor could tell just by looking that the Building was only one arm's length away from collapsing.

The dangerous Building was the Reason Tony chose it, because the danger encountered here was likely only the Building that could collapse at any Time.

Even an Idiot knows that dangerous Buildings should not be entered casually. This is common sense. Under normal circumstances, most Ordinary person would choose a safer place.

Thanos's Army naturally also knew this. Although Earth had ostensibly been captured by Thanos, the Creatures on Earth had not all been killed, and Humans were naturally among them.

After the main resistance Faction was defeated, the remaining small fry, let alone Thanos, even the Outrider Corps wouldn't bother with them, because Thanos's Goal was only the Infinity Stones. Meaningless killing would only waste his Time.

But even so, 80% of the Humans on Earth were still killed by Thanos's Army. Among them were resistance Faction and innocent unlucky people who lost their Lives when they were affected by the AOE.

The remaining Humans hid in Panic. After a period of Time, when Thanos's Army became a little more settled due to searching for the Gem, and because there was no Government or Law to restrain them, the ugliness of Humanity was revealed.

Some established themselves as kings, and others became Human Traitor, passing News to Aliens. In short, in a slightly more intact Building, the probability of encountering Bad Person is very high.

If they saw the Avengers, who were being counted by Thanos, the result would be predictable, because these Avengers had even turned Swords against their original Compatriot.

This Feeling was not good. There were already external enemies, and Humans were still fighting each other crazily. The evil of Humanity made Steve lose his Smile. Therefore, when the Avengers encountered survivors, they helped as many as possible and almost never absorbed outsiders.

This led to the fact that although their Shelter was small, it was indeed one of the most orderly and safest places on Earth now, perhaps even the only one.

And today, Tony and Thor left their safe Shelter because they were sent out to search for Supplies and try to contact the News brought back by Steve's Team.

In the Communication, someone who seemed to be Steve brought them a lot of good News, including finding the Plumbers' Base, where they not only found ample Food but also intact Technology Facility.

However, compared to the News that followed, these were not worth mentioning. The biggest good News Steve brought was that they had contacted the Plumbers, which had disappeared for more than two years, and obtained their Support.

All of this went so smoothly that the Boss of Stark Industries, who had been failing for two years and had forgotten the Feeling of smooth sailing, couldn't help but become suspicious. Honestly, after falling Sleep in the Laboratory, he did have a Dream, and it was a Sweet dream.

But even Dreams were not as good as the Reality Steve reported. Let alone Tony, any Ordinary person would feel suspicious.

For this Reason, Tony specially convened the important Figures of the Shelter to gather for a meeting. The topic was whether it was possible that Steve and the others had already been Controlled.

The result of the discussion was fifty-fifty. Some thought they had been Controlled, and others believed in Miracles and felt that Reality should be like this.

The discussion went on endlessly. In the end, Tony decided to witness it with his own Eyes. After all, although Reason told him that the possibility of it being a Trap was greater, he couldn't help but fantasize about the Miracle happening.

For this Reason, he called upon Thor, who was decadent but still the peak of Combat Power in the Shelter. The two of them went to the place agreed upon with Steve. If it was really a Trap, although he might die, Thor should be able to break through the encirclement and bring back the News.

The worst result would be both of them dying together. The Shelter still had other Asgardians, although not as good as Thor, but they had the advantage in numbers. Bruce Banner and Shuri could replace his duties.

So even if the two of them really didn't return, it was still within the Shelter's acceptable range. Not to mention that they had also trained many people in the Shelter in the past two years. As long as not too many people died at once, the Shelter would not collapse.

Complex thoughts flashed through his Brain. Tony put down the Telescope, lowered his head, and glanced at the Time. He found that there were only ten minutes left until the agreed Time. Then, he carefully led Thor out of the dangerous Building and hurried towards the Destination.

It was a dessert shop, Randy's Donuts, one of Tony's favorite Donut shops. Even during his palladium poisoning period, he couldn't forget this taste.

But now half of the Donut House had collapsed, and only half of the House was still standing, which perfectly matched Tony's dangerous Building safety theory.

Without any surprises or dangers, they sneaked to the back Door of the Donut shop. Tony calmed his Mood, knocked on the Door panel three times according to the agreed code, and the Door opened not long after.

To Tony and Thor's slight Reassured, the person who opened the Door was none other than Steve himself. After seeing that it was Tony and Thor, the other party put down the Shield in his Hand, then winked and stepped aside to let the two into the House.

As soon as they entered the House, the two saw the other Team members. Everyone looked travel-worn, but their expressions were much better than before. Passing by these familiar Figures, the two immediately noticed Gutrot, who was burly and very conspicuous.

"Long time no see, you two." Gutrot waved his Hand and greeted the two people with complex expressions.

Chapter 559 Moving (?)

Reunited after a long separation, their feelings were complex.

Naturally, a lengthy explanation followed. Ben essentially repeated verbatim what he had told Steve and the others, explaining it again to Tony and the other.

"Sounds like something out of a casually written Comics," Tony habitually commented. "Multiverse Level crisis? Wow, did I actually hear that right?"

"You didn't mishear, Tony Stark." Facing Tony's pointed remark, Ben didn't take it to heart; after all, that's just how he was.

Besides, if you suddenly tell someone unfamiliar with this Level about the Multiverse, faced with such grandiose and seemingly empty words, most people would probably think you're making things up, especially someone like Tony, who is knowledgeable and has his own way of thinking.

People like him will absolutely not back down until there's decisive Evidence to overturn their theories. History is full of similar examples.

"The Multiverse is like a Candy Ball a Child eats. It looks incredibly tough, but it's actually quite easily destroyed."

A voice, somewhat unfamiliar to Tony and Thor, suddenly sounded. Before they could even react, Martian Manhunter emerged from beneath them.

"Who are you?" Tony questioned, his Right Hand subtly moving towards the Watch on his Left Hand. It was one of his last pieces of Armament; the rest were either unusable due to Energy depletion, dismantled for other purposes, or simply gathering Ash.

Thor also raised his hands, ready to unleash a Thunder Strike on the enemy before him, depending on the Situation.

This tense atmosphere was naturally diffused by Steve and the others. Through their Explanation, Tony and the other person learned that the Greenskin before them was a member of the Plumbers.

"So, you've only sent two people?" Tony's Brow furrowed. He knew that as the ones being helped, they couldn't ask for more, but upon hearing this News, only a few people could rationally accept it.

"Don't say that, Tony."

Steve certainly understood Tony's Idea. To be honest, if he hadn't witnessed Martian Manhunter's Strength, even he would have inevitably felt some resentment in his Heart.

"Ben and Martian Manhunter are both very powerful, especially Martian Manhunter. He possesses Combat Power comparable to Thor, and he even defeated General Corvus Glaive."

Hearing this, Tony's Expression finally shifted. If it was truly as Steve said, then Martian Manhunter was indeed the Combat Power they desperately needed.

In truth, if it were Thor from the Comic Universe, Martian Manhunter would still be wary. However, the Thor from the Movie Universe wasn't quite there yet. At least, not until Thor fully awakened would he be comparable to Martian Manhunter.

"His head and Weapon are in the Base," Martian Manhunter said, speaking up at the right moment. "They were quite gruesome, so I left them in the Base."

"As I mentioned before, the Plumbers sustained significant damage in the previous Battle, and many Agents were lost," Ben said, adopting a sorrowful Expression.

"Take Goop, for example. He died in that Battle. According to Lenopan physiology, he was barely an adult."

Goop, also known as Lenopan, or more commonly as Purple Mud People, had previously appeared in the Plumbers Agent role-play.

In any case, which Alien gets to appear is Yang Le's decision. Now that Martian Manhunter is here as a superior replacement, the Lenopan naturally has no more room to appear. So, to emphasize the cruelty of War, Yang Le took the opportunity to write him out.

Moreover, in his Lenopan form, he had become quite close with the Avengers, even developing a close relationship with Tony. This was also part of the reason for his somewhat unceremonious exit.

Sure enough, the moment he heard Goop's Name, the previously aggressive Tony immediately deflated. In his mind, no one would Joke about a Partner's Life, so Goop must truly be dead.

Tony opened his Mouth, but no words came out. He'd thought he was used to loss by now, but hearing the News of that Alien Mud's Death, he suddenly realized he'd overestimated his own strength.

"I'm very sorry."

Tony managed only to say this, making Yang Le feel quite awkward. He even wondered if he'd gone too far.

"Let the Past be the Past," Ben quickly changed the Topic. "It's not just you; we all need to look forward, for those we've lost."

"You're absolutely right," Steve agreed, fully endorsing Ben's words. Even without speaking, their Expressions made it clear that the others felt the same way.

"Before moving forward, you'll need a little help," Martian Manhunter said, gesturing towards a double-door Refrigerator nearby. "The help you need is in there."

"In the Refrigerator? It's not Shaman Frosting and Cinnamon Donut, is it?" Tony seemed to have bounced back, his Mouth sharp once more. "Honestly, my Belly could really use them, but..."

As Tony spoke, he opened the Refrigerator Door. Seeing what was inside, he trailed off. It wasn't the usual pristine white Refrigerator interior, but a pitch-black Mud Tunnel.

"A Secret Passage?" Tony curled his lip. "Honestly, it's pretty cliché."

The Avengers' finale should have involved you snapping your fingers with your Mouth; it's not much less impressive than the Eternals.

"Just tell me if you want it or not," Ben said, losing a bit of Patience.

Tony replied, "If it's fully equipped, then definitely!"

With that, Tony took the lead and stepped into the Tunnel. As it turned out, even Tony, when faced with the Base personally constructed by Grey Matter, couldn't find any fault.

"Barely acceptable," Tony said stubbornly.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah," Ben nodded, playing along sarcastically.

"Is this the Plumbers's second Base?" Tony asked, looking around in confusion. "So, the thing about salespeople being Aliens in Disguise isn't just something from the Movies."

"No, the Plumbers only have one Base," Ben replied, shaking his head to answer Tony's Question. Tony was quite Surprised by the answer.

"Only one?" Tony frowned. "I thought it was in the Sea? Did I track it to the wrong place?"

But he quickly contradicted himself, "Wait, that's not right. If I was wrong, Steve and the others wouldn't have been able to find this place, would they?"

"The Position you tracked was correct, Tony," Steve answered Tony's Question. "Martian Manhunter moved the Base here."

"Moved it? By himself? From the Seabed of the Atlantic Ocean?" Tony's Eyes widened. "You've got to be kidding me. That's a terrible Joke."

"Captain isn't Joking, Tony," Natasha said with a smile. "If we hadn't seen it ourselves, we wouldn't believe it either. We were there at the Scene."

"Martian Manhunter pulled the Base right out of the Seabed, carried it across the Atlantic Ocean, and dug all the way here from Underground. The whole thing took less than two hours."

(End of Chapter)

## Chapter 560: The Troublesome Peerless Blade

Although Tony repeatedly emphasized the impossibility of such a thing, he knew that Steve and the others were not the type to make such pointless jokes.

"If it's true, then this is good news."

Tony looked at the puzzled expressions around him and also showed a puzzled expression, saying, "What's wrong? Don't you understand how much strength it takes to move a building? This is not something a few trucks can do."

"Not to mention he lifted a building and crossed half of the Atlantic Ocean. If this is true, and I'm being honest, he could crush Thanos with one hand."

"Physical strength-based battles will have a hard time defeating the current Thanos." Martian Manhunter shook his head, indicating that things were not that simple. "From what we already know, Thanos already possesses three Infinity Stones."

Although he looked down on the Infinity Stones, Yang Le had to admit that even the weakened version in the Movie Universe was not something ordinary people could deal with. A single gem was manageable, but multiple gems working together would be difficult to handle.

Besides, Yang Le never intended to handle everything alone like before. It wasn't irreversible yet. If he kept cleaning up after Tony and the others, they would still be worthless in the next crisis.

According to Steve and the others, among them, only Thor had directly faced Thanos. The rest hadn't even seen his shadow. Even the Black Order could defeat them decisively, let alone the problems to come.

"And as far as I know, Thanos is not on Earth right now."

Martian Manhunter dropped a bombshell, attracting everyone's gaze. Tony frowned and pressed for more information.

"How do you know that?"

Logically speaking, the whereabouts of a regional general should be top secret. Such message is usually difficult to detect even with spies, let alone for the Avengers who can't even leave their own territory.

In the past two years, they only managed to get a little message about the enemy at the beginning of the war. After Earth fell, they were completely in the dark, knowing nothing.

"Asked." Martian Manhunter patted Corvus Glaive's head beside him. "I entered his brain and dug out everything. Currently, Thanos's army has no secrets in front of me."

"Telepathy?" Tony was taken aback by Martian Manhunter's description. Unexpectedly, Martian Manhunter continued in the next second.

"Don't worry, I didn't use this ability on you. I know that randomly entering someone's brain on Earth is impolite."

"I don't think this behavior is considered polite anywhere." Sam couldn't help but interject. Having the idea in one's inner heart exposed to others is difficult to accept, so it's no wonder they reacted so strongly.

"In my universe, Mars, this is normal." Martian Manhunter replied. "Instead of speaking with mouths, we prefer communication on a spirit and mind level."

"Then your race must be very peaceful." Steve couldn't help but say enviously. In his opinion, a race that is so open and unreserved with their compatriot must be a beautiful world like Utopia.

Strangely, this time Martian Manhunter did not answer Steve's words, but walked aside in silence. This made everyone present feel puzzlement.

Steve felt that he might have said something wrong, so he looked up at the Plumber, who might be in the know. As expected, the other party did not betray his trust and wrote a sentence on a board taken out from nowhere.

"Martians are extinct."

The Avengers all saw this sentence. The Earth humans, already on the verge of crisis, fell into silence for a time. Perhaps this was the reason why Martian Manhunter joined the Plumbers to protect the peace of the Universe.

Having been rained on himself, he still wants to hold an umbrella for others. Such a person is indeed worthy of admiration. For a time, everyone present was willing to believe that Martian Manhunter was a gentleman who would not arbitrarily probe into other people's thoughts.

Although he was grateful for everyone's help in imagining a great image, the reason why Martian Manhunter didn't speak was because Yang Le himself couldn't show the corresponding sad expression on the tragic event of race extinction.

If the emotion was not in place, it would make others suspect whether what he said was true. In that case, it would be better for him to avoid it and let a third party speak for him. The effect might be better.

Moreover, Martian Manhunter did have other business to do, so he took this opportunity to end the topic.

Unexpectedly, Steve was a blockhead. Realizing he had said something wrong, he wanted to apologize to Martian Manhunter. As soon as he walked over, he saw the other party pick up the Peerless Blade that was placed on the table with Corvus Glaive's head.

"In other universes, I have also encountered Corvus Glaive."

Before Steve could opening to ask, Martian Manhunter spoke as if with precognition.

"Although their strengths are completely different, I estimate their abilities should be similar."

"What do you mean by that?" Thor couldn't help but opening. "Does that goblin face have any special abilities?"

During the two years of struggle, Thor and the others had fought Thanos's army many times. Although they had never won, they had a general understanding of the Black Order's abilities. Apart from that sharp Peerless Blade, they had never seen Corvus Glaive use any special abilities.

"In another universe, Corvus Glaive can constantly revive relying on this Peerless Blade." Martian Manhunter popularized the setting of the comics, making the Avengers feel shocked. The gaze towards the blade in the other party's hand changed.

"Are you saying that Corvus Glaive might not be death?" Tony couldn't help but rub his temple.

"It's very possible." Martian Manhunter nodded. Although Yang Le remembered that for the sake of length and many other factors, this ability of Corvus Glaive was not shown in the Movie Universe.

However, based on the previous descriptions from Steve and others, plus his personal feeling when facing Corvus Glaive, this Corvus Glaive didn't seem as weak as portrayed in the Movie. After all, the other party withstood the water pressure of the deep sea with just his physical body.

This physical strength is unlike the muscle weakness in the Movie where he couldn't even hold a blade steadily. It already had some of the charm of the God in the comics.

This is also the reason why Yang Le became cautious. Perhaps some 'small matter' happened in a place he didn't know about, causing a slight deviation between reality and his awareness.

"Then isn't it very dangerous for us to keep this blade?" Sam swallowed his saliva. "Let me say this first, I'm not trying to belittle ourselves, but if Thanos discovers our secret base, then everything will be over."

"There is this possibility." Yang Le twirled the blade, then held the battle blade upside down in his hand. "So I am now preparing to solve this problem."
