Chapter 33 - The Veil Of Regret

"Where are you, Na-ri?" he murmured, the words heavy with anxiety as night enveloped the city. He drove with increasing speed, his eyes burning from a mix of fear and guilt. "I can't lose you again."

He drove so fast his eyes weren't even on the road. His heart raced when a flash from a truck nearly blinded him....

Jin Woo's grip tightened around the steering wheel as he saw the headlights barreling toward him. The truck was coming straight at him—too fast, too close, like it had been aimed with purpose. His breath hitched, his heart hammering in his chest. Time seemed to slow down, and the familiar nightmare replayed itself in his mind. The truck. The impact. The crushing, searing pain.

He had seen it before—felt it before. That truck, hitting him head-on, taking everything away. His lungs screamed for air, and he was helpless, trapped in his body, unable to move.

"Not again,"he thought desperately, his hand trembling on the wheel. "Please, not again."
