Sophie Smith hurriedly packed up the clothes Irene Morton had changed after falling into the water, ready to send them to the laundry.
As soon as Sophie walked out the door, Asher Land followed her from the suite.
"Why aren't you keeping Irene company? She'll be bored by herself."
Sophie knew that Asher Land also suspected her involvement in Irene's fall into the water, and she was timidly afraid of his anger.
"Do me a favor." Asher Land stared into her eyes, remaining silent for a moment, seemingly watching her reaction.
What could she possibly do for him?
Sophie felt uncertain inside.
"If I can help..."
"Golden Era is hosting a party this Saturday, and I'm missing a female companion."
"Huh?" Sophie still didn't understand what he was up to.
"I want you to attend with me."
"Huh?"
"What's with the 'huh'? I'm asking you to attend a party with me, not to keep me company in bed. Why such a scared expression?" Asher Land snorted coldly.
