Asher Land looked down at that delicate face, feeling very happy inside.
"My woman has always been beautiful, no different from usual." Was he standing up to protect her?
Sophie Smith smiled and glanced at him sideways, silently picking up her wine glass.
"President Land, I toast to you." Robert Williams stood up, holding a wine glass and walked to Asher Land's side.
As Asher Land was about to pick up his glass, Sophie Smith stopped him.
"Robert, his injuries aren't fully healed yet, he can't drink." Sophie said seriously.
"Miss Smith, are you worried about President Land?" Robert teased.
Sophie didn't expect that Robert, usually so serious, would make a joke with her.
Asher Land's smile deepened.
The dinner was warm and cheerful, none of them expecting that this usually cold house could be so warm and inviting.
When dinner ended, it was already after ten.
