Sophie Smith came out in such a panic that she didn't have time to dodge, and even though the driver braked abruptly, she was still hit by the stretch limo due to inertia.
She fell to the ground, and blood immediately started flowing from her knees.
"Sir, it seems we hit someone..." the driver stammered to the man behind him.
Nolan Davis stepped out quickly, only to find that the person hit was the very Sophie Smith he had been searching for.
Seeing the pool of blood on the ground, his heart immediately tensed up.
"I'm sorry, Miss Smith." Without a second thought, Nolan Davis scooped her up and headed towards the car.
"To the hospital, quickly!" Nolan urged the driver.
Sophie only felt her head spinning at this moment. Nolan held her on his lap, his large hands gripping her tightly. Sophie struggled for a moment but couldn't break free.
