Without much thought, he just tossed the mayonnaise aside and was about to get up, seemingly not planning to eat breakfast.
Almost instinctively, she walked back to the table, and when Asher Land saw her approaching, he sat back down.
She unscrewed the cap of the mayonnaise, took a spoon to evenly spread it on the toast, then handed it to him.
He happily took the toast she handed him and took a bite.
"Asher Land, can you stop being so capricious in the future?"
"What?"
"You couldn't unscrew the cap of the mayonnaise, couldn't you ask the maid for help? What's your deal with skipping breakfast?" Her tone was a bit reproachful, but to his ears, it was full of concern.
