Christopher Scott shoved his hands into his pockets, his eyelids drooping. He glanced at her dismissively and didn't bother responding to her words. Instead, he suddenly stopped in his tracks and stood there rooted, not moving an inch.
Seven Murray saw this and quickly headed toward the parking lot. She took out her car keys, opened the door, started the vehicle, and drove towards Christopher Scott.
Inside the car, Seven Murray looked at Christopher Scott's nonchalant demeanor and felt the urge to drive the car straight out of the club and leave him at the door. However, she was no longer the Seven Murray from seven years ago; she wouldn't do such a childish thing anymore.
When the car stopped at the entrance of the club, Christopher Scott acted as if he didn't see it. He was still looking down at his phone, which made Seven Murray feel awkward. She realized that Christopher was doing it on purpose; he wanted her to get out and open the car door for him.
