Maya Spencer was dumbfounded when she heard Ella Turner's decision.
She thought Ella wouldn't leave S City. After all, she had been here for many years, and Ethan Turner had bought two apartments, initially one for each of the siblings. Now, both were under Ella's name. S City was where the two siblings had worked hard together, and besides, Elijah Reed was still in S City.
She never expected Ella would make such a decision in the end. Maya couldn't bear to let her go, but she also couldn't force her to stay.
So, she could only pitiably hold her hand and ask, "Ella, have you really decided?"
"Yeah! My brother is gone, and Elijah doesn't like me either. But Maya, I'll still come back to visit you when I have time. You can come to my hometown to play if you have the chance." Ella forced a smile to show her inner helplessness.
