Liam Spencer is not easily fooled. Just from Jane Spencer's expression, he can guess what she's thinking at this moment, but unfortunately for her, she's bound to be disappointed.
"Liam, since when did you become so dithering and indecisive?" Jane has a bad premonition.
Immediately, Liam says calmly, "Nolan Woods is dead. Last night he held Maya hostage and demanded that I release you. I killed him."
Liam doesn't want Jane to harbor too much resentment against too many people, so he omits that Xavier Graham fired the gun, claiming Nolan was killed by him.
Jane listens to Liam's news, furrowing her eyebrows tightly, clenching both hands into fists, lips curling into a mocking smile, questioning, "Impossible, Nolan can't be dead. You must be lying. You want to see me broken and insane, so you're deceiving me."
As for the news of Nolan's death, Jane would never believe it.
