Aidan Sutherland leaned in closer to Daisy Grant, a smile playing at the corners of his eyes and mouth, suddenly lowering his head slowly towards Daisy's cheek.
The approaching Aidan bore a malevolent kind of aggression, and Daisy instinctively retreated, wanting to avoid Aidan's kiss, but Aidan grabbed her wrist, pulling her closer to him. Daisy's fingertips grew stiff, her brow furrowed, showing both unease and displeasure on her face.
Aidan's approaching face caught sight of her displeasure, and he paused slightly, his thin lips initially aimed for her cheek instead landed gently on Daisy's forehead.
As soon as his kiss touched down, Daisy immediately took two steps back, digging her fingertips into her palms, her expression and tone both indifferent, "Let's go back and eat, we shouldn't keep everyone waiting."
