Dawn Sutherland tidied up the files on the table and asked Sam Brown, "Help me reserve a private room at Lushwoods Inn."
Sam Brown remembered that Dawn Sutherland's schedule seemed to have no dinner appointments tonight. He teased with a mischievous smile, "President Sutherland, are you asking Evalian Chapman out for dinner? President, although our company has just started and there's a lot to do, you should spend more time with Miss Chapman. I will immediately book a room for you two."
Sam Brown left the office.
Dawn Sutherland stood up and checked his phone; no messages, no calls. He hadn't been home for three days, but there was no reaction from that person at home.
Dawn Sutherland smiled bitterly, "Didn't you foresee this, Dawn Sutherland? She doesn't love you. Asking to marry you was just a plea for help when she had no way out."
