Daisy Ginger was slightly taken aback by Charlotte Smith's sudden outburst.
Then she curled her lips with a hint of mockery, "It seems you really like Edward Stephens."
Charlotte frowned slightly, seemingly realizing her own loss of control, and slowly pursed her lips.
"That's right." Daisy leaned against the headboard, letting out a sneer, "You two are the real childhood sweethearts, growing up together from a young age, while I'm just the intruder."
"Miss Ginger," Charlotte's voice was slightly hoarse, as if trying to regain her usual calm. She lowered her head, earnestly advising, "Edward truly loves you. Please try to understand him a bit. Over the years, I've never seen him act so impulsively over a woman. He truly likes you. Could you please look back at him?"
