Daisy Ginger leaned against the headboard, her thin and bony shoulders exposed to the air, emitting a pale and translucent glow.
Edward Stephens walked in, turned on the lights, and looked at Daisy's wrist, which had just been stitched up but was already starting to bleed again.
His eyes turned a shade colder as he walked to the bedside and asked coldly, "Have you caused enough trouble?"
