Half an hour later, Elena Raven ran in from outside with her hair disheveled, carrying new clothes.
"Daisy!" she cried with a smoky voice as she threw herself at her, hugging her and sobbing, "I'm sorry!"
Daisy Ginger pushed her away, looking at her disdainfully—her eyeliner smudged like panda eyes, reeking of smoke from who knows where, and clothes all messed up. Critically, she said, "Even if you're such a mess that you can't count your fans with ten fingers, please be mindful of your celebrity image. If someone takes a photo of you like this, how embarrassing would that be for me?"
"I spent the whole night at the police station for you," Elena sobbed, "and you're still looking down on me! Do you know how worried I was about you all night?"
Daisy changed into a new outfit, threw the messy dress she was wearing into the trash can, and replied, "I'm fine..." or so, "By the way, do you know who took me away yesterday?"
Elena looked at her blankly.
