That night, Daisy Ginger found a nest of grasshoppers in her bed.
As soon as she lifted the blanket, a nest of green grasshoppers flew out. Even with Daisy's bravery, she was scared out of her wits.
Elena Raven heard her scream and ran in. Seeing the bugs hopping around Daisy's room, Elena's face turned pale too.
"Daisy, who did this?" Elena was almost crying in fear, "We should report it to Director Carter. Who knows what they'll do next?"
With a pale face, Daisy grabbed a grasshopper off her head and said to Elena, "It's useless."
Would Director Carter dare to offend him?
The grasshoppers flew everywhere. Daisy had played with them as a child and recognized them, so she wasn't afraid.
After spending over an hour sweeping the jumpy grasshoppers into a trash bin, she was exhausted, sitting on the sofa catching her breath.
The freshly dried bedding was dirtied again, making Daisy frown in frustration.
Knowing who did it but unable to confront them was very annoying.
