"Daisy, don't get worked up. If that snake is venomous, it could make the poison spread faster!"
But how could she possibly calm down?
Daisy Ginger glared fiercely at the door, cursing Edward Stephens a thousand times in her mind. That idiot, knowing there was a snake in the room, dared to run inside. Didn't he see the group of big men outside who wouldn't dare enter? Did he think he was a cat with nine lives?!
Fortunately, Edward swiftly emerged.
Holding a small emerald-green snake.
"Ah!"
A frightened girl screamed lightly, and the crowd quickly retreated a meter backwards.
Edward tossed the snake onto the ground and exhaled gently: "It's not a Bamboo Pit Viper. It's a Green Snake, and it's already dead."
The nearby doctor also came over, checked, and nodded, "It's a non-venomous Green Snake."
Daisy finally let out a breath and collapsed onto the ground. Elena Raven untied her wrists, crying and laughing, "Daisy, thank goodness you're alright!"
