Daisy Ginger was a bit speechless.
But seeing his scruffy appearance, she decided to be the bigger person and not stoop to his level.
The nurse sister brought over an infrared thermometer and beeped it on Edward Stephens' neck.
She looked down and said, "Sir, you have a fever of 39 degrees. Also, your wounds haven't been treated. Please follow me to the front for some disinfection."
Edward Stephens said coldly, "I'm fine."
Even with the pretty nurse sister, this guy was neither gentle nor considerate.
Daisy Ginger clicked her tongue lightly in her heart and said, "Nurse, this guy has thick skin and flesh and can take a beating. Just get him some cold medicine to take, and I'll disinfect his superficial wounds for him later."
Edward Stephens curled his index finger and knocked hard on her forehead, his tone unfriendly: "You lie down and don't move, I can disinfect myself."
Wasn't she just trying to help him out? Besides, no matter what the nurse said, he wouldn't go out.
