Li Siru happened to be carrying tea water and almost bumped into Tu Yingying, but didn't make things difficult for her. Li Siru remained unfazed and walked in slowly, placing the tea water in front of Tu Meijiao's desk.

Tu Meijiao frowned as she glanced at her, "It's already this late, and you're still looking like this. You're not that striking to begin with, and you don't even bother to dress up properly. Are you planning to embarrass Beiyao at the banquet later?"

Li Siru remained indifferent and silent, just nodded, then said, "I'll head out first!"

"So unlucky!" Tu Meijiao couldn't help but snort.

Li Siru suddenly stood still, slowly turned around to look at Tu Meijiao. Tu Meijiao asked irritably, "Why are you still standing here? Are you trying to annoy me?"

"Mom, do you really dislike me?" Li Siru's voice was calm and serene, but unlike her usual dull silence, there was a hint of confrontation.
