"Uh..." Jin Jumo looked at her in confusion.
Yue Jingcheng said nothing more, glanced at Xixi and Hanhan, and then stood up to walk upstairs.
Jin Jumo frowned, turning her head to watch her figure walk upstairs.
Aunt Tao, emerging from the kitchen at some unknown time, looked at Yue Jingcheng's thin back and said with a tone of sympathy, "Ma'am, the flowers in the garden have bloomed, aren't you going to take a look? Your favorite peonies."
"I'm a bit tired, Aunt Tao, I'll look at them later." Yue Jingcheng didn't turn her head back.
Aunt Tao wanted to say something but caught a glimpse of Jin Jumo and swallowed her words.
Standing for a few seconds, Aunt Tao looked at Jin Jumo and said, "Miss Jin, breakfast has been warmed up. Please take the children to the dining room, and I'll bring it out shortly."
As Aunt Tao spoke, her gaze lingered for a moment on Xixi and Hanhan's faces before she turned back into the kitchen.
