"Lu Ling, what do you want to say?" Cheng Li finally spoke, asking. She didn't want to feel like she was being kept in the dark; she wanted to know what Lu Ling was really up to.
"Cheng Li, this isn't the place to talk. How about we go to a café?" Lu Ling pointed not far ahead, where there was a small café. She had been there before, and the taste was decent.
"Okay!" Cheng Li nodded and followed Lu Ling into the café. They sat down and each ordered a cup of coffee. Cheng Li, somewhat impatient, asked, "Now can you tell me your purpose?"
"Cheng Li, I didn't expect you to be so impatient. Don't worry, I won't do anything to you." Lu Ling laughed and said.
This made Cheng Li feel a bit embarrassed. Truth be told, she had been somewhat suspicious of Lu Ling, worried that she might sell her out like others she'd encountered before.
