After finishing morning tea and coming out of the Dragon Hotel, Le Tong thought Ji Rui would ask the driver to take Ji Baby home first. However, Ji Rui asked Ji Baby, "Baobao, do you want to go to work with daddy and mommy today?"
The little guy instantly perked up, hugging Ji Rui's neck and covering his face with kisses.
"Can I? Can I go with daddy and mommy?"
In this matter, Baobao had always shown that he was sensible and measured.
Even though he knew he was recovering and could use this as an opportunity to be spoiled, when Le Tong went to work, he never fussed or argued. He was always well-behaved, waiting at home for her to come back and keep him company after work.
In his heart, he knew better than anyone else that his parents' relationship was still in a cold war period (which was his understanding of their relationship). If he misbehaved and made mommy angry, she might leave him and daddy behind and run off to D Province again like last time.
