After Baobao woke up, the adults took turns accompanying him to collect a pile of shells and build a long row of castles, until the crimson sun sank into the sea. Only then did Le Tong coax Baobao into the car, which slowly drove away from the seaside.
The car traveled along the coastal highway for about ten minutes before Ji Rui instructed Xiao Li to turn onto a small road at a junction. Not long after, they saw a restaurant built along the mountainside.
The restaurant had a peaceful and expansive environment. Although the outdoor dining area was not crowded with guests, the tables were spaced widely apart, with flowers and plants in between them. Occasional insect sounds could be heard, making the surrounding voices seem quieter.
