Le Tong rushed outside like a whirlwind, and Baobao, who hadn't finished his apple juice, looked up at her in astonishment. "So fast?"
Le Tong glanced at him without explaining anything and quickly dashed into the tea room.
Baobao was full of confusion. Wasn't Daddy asking someone to go in and explain and apologize? Why did Mommy come out in the blink of an eye? Did Daddy explain everything clearly, and Mommy is no longer angry? Or did that fool Daddy just make it worse and anger Mommy more?
Baobao tilted his head, biting his straw, contemplating whether to go in and ask Daddy for clarification. Suddenly, the door made a sound, and his usually calm and composed Daddy hurriedly came out of the office.
When Baobao saw his slightly furrowed brows and unsettled appearance, he thought for sure that Daddy couldn't handle Mommy, and was coming out to make amends. He didn't say much but pouted his lips towards the tea room, indicating Mommy was over there.
