Le Tong looked at Baobao, then at Nuonuo. The weather here is no better than in R City, especially at night when it becomes terribly cold.
"Never mind, let's just stay here."
"Alright, how about I let them deliver it directly?"
In crowded places, Le Tong was still a bit reluctant to let Baobao stay, so she didn't oppose Yang Sheng's suggestion.
Yang Sheng asked what Le Tong wanted to eat, and Le Tong let him and Baobao decide while she held Nuonuo and went out onto the terrace to enjoy the view.
Nuonuo stayed quietly in her arms, her large, dark eyes rolling around, looking at Le Tong from time to time, and then at the tall buildings outside the terrace and the sky dyed red by the sunset.
Le Tong's gaze, however, remained fixed on Nuonuo's face. As she looked, she couldn't help but speculate—how could a mother be so heartless to leave such a cute little child by the seaside woodland?
That mother really was ruthless, leaving her daughter in such a remote place.
