When Lou Xi woke up, she didn't see Qin Mobai in the room. After showering and coming out of the bathroom, she saw a note on the bedside table from him saying he'd gone out briefly and would be back soon.
She was drying her hair while picking up her phone, intending to call Qin Mobai. Wasn't she worried he'd get lost in the town?
It seemed a bit unnecessary to worry. Who was Qin Mobai anyway? As if he would get lost.
However, upon unlocking her phone, Lou Xi was surprised to find all the contacts had disappeared. And on closer inspection, the phone didn't even have a SIM card inserted, so how was she supposed to make a call?
Where was the time to fuss with the phone, so when did the SIM card go missing?
Unable to figure it out, Lou Xi decided not to think about it. It was exhausting. She found that ever since she was with Qin Mobai, she was becoming less inclined to use her brain.
