"Beep——"
The phone alarm brought Rong Zhi's scattered thoughts back.
She frowned, casually swiping the screen to turn off the alarm.
She needed to watch the lab results, so she didn't dare sleep too much. She lit up the screen to check the time—past 3 a.m., only two hours since she rested.
The laboratory windows were fitted with dimming glass and curtains; the outside light couldn't penetrate, no view of any stars.
Rong Zhi rubbed her wrist bone as she got up, the data still jumping on the computer. The green progress bar showed 95%; she estimated the lab results would be out in five minutes at most.
Her throat felt a bit dry.
She went out to get water.
Bai Su and Jiang Gujun, she didn't know what time they left. She was busy and didn't pay attention.
Her phone had a message from Bai Su reminding her to sleep early.
Rong Zhi took a sip of water, didn't reply, and kept waiting for the lab results.
