Not coming back?

Mia Ginger was stunned for a second and softly said, "Hmm."

"I already called Uncle Lewis," Koa Jackson was a bit uneasy, "Let them know if you have any dinner preferences, Aunt Lee is good at Chinese cuisine, while Little Darcy is good at Western dishes."

"Okay." Mia Ginger replied again.

Koa Jackson held the phone, thought for a while, and finally said helplessly, "Let's leave it at that."

"Hmm."

Koa Jackson hung up the phone.

Feeling a bit depressed.

He's a man of few words, which makes everyone around him seem talkative.

This was the first time he encountered someone like this.

Unaccustomed.

Koa Jackson lowered his eyes in thought and put away his phone.

Working in the hospital is busy, and he was promoted to chief physician at a young age, which was rare; he's also devoted to his work, spending at least five days a week in the hospital.

Overtime is the norm.

Uncle Lewis and the others were clearly used to it and didn't take it to heart.
