Lilian Jackson felt even more uneasy.

She stood up with a smile and said, "You guys eat first, I'll go for a walk in the garden."

"I'll go too," Gideon Jackson immediately stood up, smiling brightly, "This is my first time here, I should take a good look around."

As he finished speaking, the two of them followed Uncle Lewis out of the dining room.

It wasn't even nine o'clock yet.

But the sky was already bright, the warm sunlight shining on the blooming flowers and green trees, seemingly able to brighten one's mood.

But Lilian Jackson still felt blocked up.

She reached out and plucked a flower petal, the soft pink petals slowly crushed between her fingers, oozing sap and staining her fingertips.

Gideon Jackson frowned as he looked at her, "Do you really like Koa?"

"I don't like him."

Lilian Jackson took a tissue from her pocket to wipe her hands, "I love him."

She lifted her head to look at Gideon Jackson, giving a bitter smile, "Brother, I love him. Always have."
