Daniel didn't speak, but his face showed resistance.
Thinking of something, Melody Parker crouched down and looked gently at Daniel, "Sweetheart, Mommy originally planned to take you and your brother out to play. But Uncle Galan happened to call and said he would come over to take you guys out. Don't worry, sweetheart, Uncle Galan is very nice, and Mommy and your brother will always be with you."
Daniel looked at Melody Parker and finally spoke: "I don't want to go."
Melody Parker looked at Daniel with a face full of motherly love and gently asked, "You don't want to go? Why not? Can you tell Mommy?"
In Melody Parker's eyes, no matter how smart or talented her two treasures are, they are still children who should retain their childish nature.
And playing is the nature of all children.
But Daniel's autism makes him dislike interacting with people, which further makes her want to take him out, to help him completely overcome his autism.
